We chose this hotel because of price and good reviews. Checked in fairly late but desk clerk called to get our ETA and was very accommodating. Room was spacious and clean, bed comfortable. There is a gas fire place in the room and the small flame made a flickering noise but it wasn't bothersome. Loved the noon check out time as we didn't feel rushed. Breakfast is very basic but good enough to start the day.

Older hotel but loved that I could drive up to my room. However at check in, they said they only do maid service every three days. I stated I didn’t want any service and would call on day three morning to confirm. There was no do not disturb sign. The following day, we came back to our having been cleaned. The bed was made and we did not make it. We left items in our room that would have been easy to take and we would not know it. Plus, I had my daughter’s cat in the room while we went to the market. This was not ok! They did discount my room but this was clearing in violation of their policy. There were no hot items for breakfast. It was a very sparse continental breakfast at best with no gluten free options.

It was really nice we were in suite# 117 and it was on the bottom floor but the view was beautiful, pool was really warm which was perfect for me!! Will stay there again in the future!!

We had an absolutely amazing experience. The weather turned out to be less than desirable However we still got to enjoy the beauty of the beach from the gorgeous views of our room next to the beautiful and warm fireplace. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and will be back.

The real rating is more like 4.5 stars. I knocked off 1/2 star because the breakfast was strictly coffee and carbs, and the room was a bit dated. However, the room was very clean and comfortable and had the best view of the ocean you can get without being outside. There are breakfast places within 3 miles of the hotel. We will be returning.

Immediate beach access

The perfect weekend getaway. This hotel is right on the promenade with beach access just steps away. I love the location - just a few blocks from the main road with all the shops and attractions, immediate beach access that is away from the big crowd, beautiful unobstructed view. The room is dated, but the beds are comfy (updated bedding, nice pillows) and the tv has so many options (streaming, movies, cable, dvd player). The breakfast is simple so you can get back to enjoying your stay - cereal, bagels, muffins, toast, yogurt, milk, hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee, and tea. We will be making this hotel our go-to whenever we stay in Seaside!
