Nice place, not as clean but okay for a weekend. Lovely location Davis bay is beautiful. Attached to Joes on the beach restaurant which is good but crazy expensive

We were delighted to be staying near the iconic pier @ Davis Bay! Stunning view from our ground level, one bedroom suite. Staff helpful when we couldn’t get the blind down with the remote/power button. They were busy but they came by to fix. Beds were so comfy! Obvious upgrades! Delightful shower head and instant hot water. Great location for “Joes” a must eatery and little shop carrying the tasty Davis Bay Tea. Also it was quiet despite being on the main hwy. we really loved our stay!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Oceanside. It looked exactly like the pictures but the view was honestly way better in person. The only comment we could make was the mattress was quite loud so any time we moved, we would wake up from the sound. Seemed like there was a plastic covering that wasn’t taken off. Otherwise everything was great and we would stay again.

Thin ceiling/floor and people talking into the early morning above us. They weren't obnoxiously loud (mostly) but we could hear them clearly, talking, walking, sliding the squeaky bathroom door. Ours was squeaky too. The floors weren't the cleanest and the furniture was old and worn. The mattress had a protective cover that made noise every time either of us moved. And you can hear the highway traffic easily. The restaurant was wonderful and the location beautiful; I really wanted to like it there. But we won't be back or recommending it to anyone else.

Oceanside was a great convenient stop right beside the highway. The full glass window to the ocean with the wonderful patio was a great feature. Comfortable bed and modern classy bathroom were also great features. The attached restaurant, Joe’s On The Beach, was significant better than typical hotel restaurants. All in all, this was a great stopover hotel.

It’s an older property but clean and well maintained. The staff was nice. We were put in the suite above the restaurant so it was very noisy due to that but the suite itself was spacious and had a beautiful enclosed balcony with a view of the ocean. We would definitely stay there again.

I asked the desk clerk to call the upstairs guests to try to tell them to be a little quiet. After one hour I went to office he didn’t make the call . Needless to say we didn’t have a restful night.

Hotel has been updated. Room is clean and has all the things you need. Restaurant next door is Joe’s and dinner was delicious! The beach is a few steps away. It is rocky and slippery. But great for exploring for sea glass!
