Best Family hotel in Sechelt

Very good location. Clean and up to date. Staff are friendly and accommodating. They even gave free popsicles between 5 to 7pm!

Conveniently located right off the Sunshine Coast Hwy and directly across from the ocean. The view was amazing! Close to the pier for a nice walk and fishing. Restaurant on site. Staff were very nice and helpful. Room was updated and modern. Bed was comfortable. Patio faced the ocean with deck chairs to watch the beautiful sunset in the evening. Hotel is pet friendly. BBQ area with seating to cook your own meal.

The location was fantastic to the pier. There is a cross walk right in front of the hotel so is super helpful in order to cross the main coast hwy. We love the beach being so close it’s perfect. The pier is very cool for dock jumping on one side and crabbing and fishing on the opposite. We meet so many great people at the pier as well. Although there’s not much in Davis Bay, all you need for a little R&R is the beach and pier this is our second year returning for the summer and is definitely on our list for the future!

Would Return Despite Issue

Location, great. Renovation/room/bathroom updates, great. Option to dine on site, great. As we readied ourselves to check out I became aware that a jar of higher end face cream was not on the bathroom counter. I use this every morning. I checked the immediate area and the waste basket, just in case. No luck. The room was straightened while we were out the previous day. I didn’t notice the jar as another product is used for PM routine. I made mention of this at check out. The person I spoke with did reach out to housekeeping, which I didn’t understand. The jar was not missing or misplaced. The jar was gone. The only other person (s) in our room was housekeeping. I will always believe the jar was removed from our guest room. I think the person I tried to explain this to was defensive and not remotely sympathetic. He had made up his mind and my story did not sit well with him.

Absolutely loved the view from our balcony. It was like we were on a tropical vacation with the ocean view. Room was updated and the shower was the best I've ever had at a hotel. Their shampoo and condition was fantastic as well. I would go back to this location without hesitation.

Beautiful view of the ocean from the room. There is a road between hotel and ocean so there is noise of you leave patio door open. No big deal to us. 2 great restaurants and a cafe right next door/on property. Bathroom is a barn door style so not great at sealing off bathroom. King room was a great size however TV could have been a bit larger.
