The Loft was designed and created by us for those of you looking for the ultimate getaway. Here you can relax in privacy, and feel pampered while enjoying up-scale amenities, unobstructed views, and peaceful, natural surroundings.

Situated at the head of Sequim Bay at approx. 450 ft. elevation, The Loft offers a panoramic view of Sequim Bay, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the San Juan Islands and Mt. Baker. The view of the Strait provides an ever-changing view of many ocean bound ships. (We provide binoculars for you to enjoy the activity a bit closer up.)

The Loft is approximately 500 square feet in size and is the second story of a completely separate building on the property. Our home is also on the property, however, the purposeful orientation of the two separate buildings allows for total privacy for our guests.

There is a gated entrance leading to the backside of the building housing The Loft. There you will find towering evergreens and a wonderful, perfectly private patio with a hot tub, gas BBQ, and an outdoor dining table. It is not uncommon to have eagles flying overhead and deer in the lower grassy area.

We originally envisioned building this space for our family and friends to use while visiting. So we wanted it to be very special even from the beginning. As the project progressed, we decided to offer it as a vacation rental as well.

We decorated The Loft using vibrant and inviting colors. We used natural slate, granite, a heated tile floor in the bath, upscale fixtures and solid cherry woodwork/trim throughout to accomplish our vision. One of our favorite features in The Loft is the gas fireplace. Surrounded with natural slate tiles it has a hand crafted mantle of solid cherry and truly is 'one of a kind'.

We planned the furniture and fireplace arrangement so that the fireplace, wall mounted HDTV, and straight on view of Sequim Bay can all be enjoyed from the comfort of the bed! We also installed 'stealth' stereo speakers in the walls...they are invisible! The balcony of The Loft overlooks the bay and is a wonderful place to just 'be'.

We are in a gated community comprised of five-acre properties. Ours is located on the top of the hill, at the end of a cul-de-sac. It is the last of only three homes situated on the street.

We feel we accomplished our goal of creating a very special place, and are pleased to offer it for your stay in Sequim. Our central location on the north end of the Olympic Peninsula makes this a great place to stay while enjoying the numerous activities available in the area.

The Loft is about a ten minute drive from Sequim and about a 25 minute drive to Port Angles.

“Port Angeles/Sequim is a gateway to Olympic National Park. Because of the dramatic relief —the peaks rise to over 5,000 feet within a few miles of the coast — the area hosts diverse ecosystems, including alpine environments studded with lakes, ultragreen old-growth forests threaded with whitewater rivers, and bays that harbor orcas and steelhead.

HIGHLIGHTS to enjoy while your're in Sequim include:

-OLYMPIC DISCOVERY TRAIL: miles and miles of paved trail to walk and bike along from Port Angeles to Port Townsend

-AWARD WINNING WINERIES: seven local wineries offering tours and tastings

-LAVENDAR FESTIVAL (third weekend in July): Sequim is the 'Lavender Capital of North America' with a dozen lavender farms offering tours and their special lavender products. Many farms are open throughout the year. During the festival most farms offer a tasty selection of food and beverages along with some great entertainment on site. In town you'll find a large street fair.

-IRRIGATION FESTIVAL (May): This local festival features a well populated street market, carnival, parade and logging events.

My wife’s request for her birthday trip was epic views, and this place definitely delivered! We had some adventure days and some recharge days. The hot tub was amazing for tired feet! We had everything we needed. I was worried the mini fridge would be too small for our groceries, but we had plenty of space for 4 days of food for 2 people, and all of our reusable ice packs fit in the freezer. The microwave is also a convection oven/air fryer, and the electric skillet was so convenient. We felt safe there as well. The robes were such a nice touch! The heated floor in the bathroom and fireplace made us feel so cozy. We will recommend the Loft to anyone looking to spend time in that area.

Lovely view in a very snug cute garage apartment. The view is sublime and the clean hot tub was perfect for relaxing in the clean, crisp air. I needed the relaxing before i climbed the 16 stairs back to the loft. The view was worth the hike.

The entire region looked like a painting. My wife has irrational standards for cleanliness and she was happier here than any other place we have stayed. Beautiful views over the bay and the space was a perfect place to unwind after a long day of exploring the peninsula.

We really enjoyed waking up to the peaceful stillness of the lake, with a lovely partial sunrise view each morning. The space itself is compact but thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We did use the bathtub, though the chlorine level felt a bit too strong, as the fumes were overwhelming at times. That said, the property manager was very responsive and helpful with all of my questions. Overall, I would recommend staying here; it’s in a great location, close to beautiful sights and some hiking trails.

Exceptionally clean, modern, elegant furnishings. Very private and gorgeous views of Sequim Bay, Canada and Mt. Baker. Gated, private, quiet upscale community. Amazing honeymoon retreat

This property was so gorgeous and did not disappoint! We were sent an email with very detailed check-in instructions, and we were able to check-in without any troubles. The loft was clean, cozy, beautiful, and we loved the hot tub! We did not need a huge house for just the two of us, so this size was perfect for us. It did not have a stove but they had a wonderful hotplate so we did our cooking on there and it was delicious! They had two robes and plenty of towels for the hot tub, we felt like it was a luxury retreat away from home. Zero complaints here. Thank you for a memorable and beautiful stay!!

The furniture was comfortable, the fireplace was a delight, and the hot tub was super easy to access and the perfect temperature. Each piece of The Loft was clearly handled picked to make for a wonderfully relaxing stay.

Super quiet with great view

Nice and cozy we enjoyed the spectacular view out the window wall of the bay and straight of jaun defuca. Great romantic get away.

Great loft. Very cozy. Our first experience with an Air B and B , we usually stay at a hotel. Very enjoyable, private hot tub was great Will request a stay here again. Great experience
