Reservation was missing. On check in (on Xmas night), the reservation was not there although I had verified multiple times months in advance. The comm between singerislandrentals and Marriott did not happen. We were forced to wait in the lobby for 3 hours while this was resolved. No one from singerislandrentals was available since they close at 5 and this was 8pm. Finally, Marriott just put us up in a room for the night. Next morning, sinderislandrentals rebooked us for our original room. We had to repack and move rooms which took a few hours. The resolution from singerislandrentals was to refund us for the first night (which seemed reasonable to me at the time). But then I was charged by Marriott for the first night stay. According to singerislandrentals since they refunded us for the first night, they are all set. But from my perspective, i was not compensated for 5 hrs of hassle. Rather than enjoying the beach, i was packing, cleaning, and moving. You can assess for yourself if this is fair. But I suggest not booking this property as you are dealing with 2 different orgs (singerislandrentals and Marriott).
