This Private Gated 20 Acre Lake View Estate features 5 Large Bedrooms within 2 Luxurious Lodges and features 7 Beds. The property is under a mile from Flathead Lake. The North Lodge features 3 Bedrooms with 3 King Beds and 2 ensuite bathrooms and the South Lodge features 2 Bedrooms, one with a King Bed Master Suite and en-suite bathroom and the 2nd Bedroom features a Queen Bed and 2 twin beds. The North Lodge features a Spacious Living Room with stone fireplace, 2 oversized Leather couches, fully equipped Chef's Kitchen, Large Dining Area and Laundry Facility. The Living Room & Porch offer remarkable views of Flathead Lake. The South Lodge is a Spacious 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom 2 Story Cottage with Fireplace, Balcony with amazing Lake Views, Living Room with its own Full Kitchen and Laundry facility. *Need additional space; at a nominal charge there are 2 additional 1 Bedroom Luxury Cabins with Queen Beds, full bathrooms, kitchenettes, Smart TVs and Starlink High Speed Wifi. These 2 Lodges nestled within the 20 acre wooded compound comprise The Stone Canyon Estate and sleep 10 adults comfortably; *Before booking your reservation please read the “House Rules” below. HOUSE RULES: We’re honored that you’re considering our property to be your home away from home in Montana. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to assure that your stay with us will be a happy and memorable one. We take our responsibility as Hosts very seriously. Our personal commitment to you as our Guests is to seek to provide you with Luxurious and Restful accommodations with no “surprises”. AGE REQUIREMENT: Please be advised that Guest Renters must be a minimum of 25 years of age to rent this property. I’m sorry.... There are NO exceptions. CHILDREN: We welcome well behaved children. SMOKING: There is No Smoking anywhere on the property; No Exceptions, Not anywhere outside, Not anywhere inside.... ever. We are located within a strict fire zone. Please respect the policy and know that you risk lives by smoking. If you or your guests need to smoke (anything) this property IS NOT a match for you. This is a 100% Non-Smoking Property. If it is determined that Guest Renter or any Guests of Guest Renter have smoked anywhere on or within the property the Guest Renters occupancy shall be terminated immediately and Guest Renter shall be charged for the costs of a professional cleaning crew and additionally shall be charged all rental days that the property is made unavailable for rental until smoking smell and toxins have been thoroughly eliminated to the exclusive satisfaction of Host. Guest shall additionally receive a 1 Star Rating and a Warning to other Hosts shall be posted of Guest Renters willful violation of Hosts mandatory No Smoking rental rule. GUEST RENTER: Please, no more than reserved number of Guests are authorized to stay at the property at any one time ......No exceptions. “Guest Renter” must be present at the time of Check-In and throughout the rental period and will be greeted by Host or Host’s representative at Check-In; Guest Renter is required to present government issued identification at the time of Check-in to verify their identity. Flathead Lake and Glacier Trip

This property is absolutely fabulous. It overlooks Flathead lake and the mountains. You frequently see deer and wild turkey from the balcony. The bees and butterflies and hummingbirds are abundant. Very relaxing and quiet getaway and close to food and entertainment in nearby Lakeside. We had a party of nine. Six adults and three teenagers and the property was perfect for us.

Montana luxury at it's finest.

We, 3 generations, all together were traveling through Montana. Everything was so delightful, all of us had a great time. They left food and drinks for us, in the kitchen upstairs. Big enough for us to all have our alone time if we wanted it. I just loved the ring of chairs out on the lawn, and spent lots of time there. Close enough to Lakeside if we wanted to go out to eat. I would stay there again, when we come through again. 4 stars

Wedding Compound

From the moment we toured the property, we were taken aback by the astounding views of Flathead Lake, the privacy, and the immense attention to detail the owners had put into it. The interior design is a gorgeous play on western with a bit of rock-and-roll. The individual units have everything that one would need for a comfortable stay - plush linens and bedding, basic amenities, etc. We rented all of the units for our wedding guests and every single person was impressed. The owners and manager even surprised us with stocking the kitchens a bit with snacks! Our stay at this property was above-and-beyond our expectations and truly gave us the most special wedding weekend.

Beautiful

We enjoyed a fabulous week at this property! Bruce is a delight and was easy to communicate with prior to and during our stay. The lodge is well stocked with amenities, including some very nice luxe items. The views are beautiful as well. Two things to note that I wasn't aware of until after booking: 1) the fire pit in the pictures is NOT part of this property; and 2) other residences very near the lodge are leased out to other renters at the same time. In the end it didn't matter because 1) a burn ban kept anyone from using the fire pit; and 2) we hardly saw or heard anyone else. I would have liked to know those two things before I booked. Overall, though, we had a wonderful vacation and would definitely return.

This property and the views of Flathead Lake are beautiful! There is so much to do and see on the property and within less than 45 minutes’ drive from Somers/Lakeside that we wish we’d had more time to enjoy it all. You could spend full days at the property just relaxing enjoying the lodge and the grounds. While it did require some coordinating on timing, our check in with the host was everything you’d expect from an upscale hotel - a warm welcome, and a great overview of the property and the area that enabled us to start our vacation quickly without fumbling around figuring out the property ourselves. The full lodge is essentially two luxury bedroom/living/kitchen areas within the same L-shaped structure, connected by a garage (walking between them takes a few steps outside, but the setup was perfect for us as parents of young adults). We made three great meals together in the large chef’s kitchen, and lacked for nothing in the way of supplies/utensils/dishes. There are games and even some snacks in both areas!Off property, there are convenient boat rentals in Lakeside from Flathead Boat Rental - spend at least a half-day on the lake if you can; it’s just breathtaking, and there are some incredible homes. Kalispell and Whitefish are less than an hour drive, and Glacier just a bit over that. In between there are small towns with shopping and coffee shops with great breakfast and lunch options to fuel hiking and outdoor exploring. We thoroughly enjoyed our family trip!!

Magnificent Experience

It is difficult to capture the entirety of our experience in a review. The trip was seamless from booking to finish. Our host Bruce made us feel very welcome and was available all along the way.. Bruce and Kelly have built a very special place….it was our privilege to see Montana while having their property as a home base. We had eight family members that gathered from various states to be together for my father’s 75th birthday. There was plenty of room and space for all, both private and shared. The property overlooks Flathead Lake, the mountains and forests. The balcony was our favorite spot-where the views were spectacular all day and night. There is a large iron framed cushioned area that was perfect for stargazing. The property has hiking, various outdoor areas for games or relaxing. I appreciated that our stay was gated although the bear that wandered in was not deterred! That siting was a highlight to all of us. The lodge and the cottage were decorated with high end furnishings and were both fully equipped. There was attention given to even the smallest of details… throughout the entire property. It was unexpected and thoughtful that the kitchen/pantry/fridge were stocked as they were (in both houses). We prepared breakfast and a few dinners, the appliances, kitchen supplies and openness of the gourmet kitchen/bar made dining its own pleasurable experience. Even though you feel peacefully secluded and remote, you are literally a 10 minute drive from the town of Lakeside. It has most anything you need; coffee shops, small stores, groceries, pharmacy, restaurants. In summary, this is truly a luxurious experience that exceeded our expectations. I very much look forward to the next time.

Perfect hideaway during the spartan race

Came up here with a close friend to participate in the Bigfork spartan race. This home was far enough away to be secluded and remote, but not so far that it was a pain to get to. The property is absolutely beautiful – quiet and with stunning views. Our favorite spot to relax and take it all in was on the balcony, overlooking the trees and the lake, sitting on the large couch/mattress that’s there, while drinking champagne, eating cheese, listening to the birds, breathing the fresh air, and taking it all in. In fact, it was such a wonderful location that the last thing I did, as we were pulling out of the driveway to head home, was to run back up the stairs to take a photo of that view. (I’ll add it to the review if I’m able). The house itself was tastefully decorated. It felt in no way like a tired rental stuffed full of cheap furniture and garage sale accessories. No, it felt like a lovely, tastefully decorated home. I could live there comfortably without changing a single thing. The kitchen was good-looking and functional, perfectly clean. The hosts had stocked the fridge with a few things, including some snacks on the counter – a very nice touch. Speaking of the hosts, Bruce and Lynnie were perfectly helpful and friendly – they’re there when you needed them, not there when you didn’t. Absolutely no complaints at all. A couple things to note: 1) There are three buildings on the property, all somewhat clustered around a central area. One of the buildings is Bruce’s home. While you pretty much never see him, you are not alone on this property. That may bother some people. 2) Even though there were only two of us, I rented the full, large house. You don’t need to do that. The house is actually two houses joined by a common garage – they can be rented together (as I did) or individually. Had I known how it was set up, I would simply have rented the fraction of the house we used instead I rented the whole darn thing. Bruce tried to explain this to me when I was first renting it, letting me know I didn’t need to take the whole thing, but it didn’t quite sink in until I got there and saw it. If this confuses you at all, I suggest giving Bruce a call.

Rustic excellence overlooking flathead!

Great experience with Bruce and his property by Flathead. The property is a mile or so off flathead near Lakeside. It’s down a gravel road behind a gated driveway. Our host Bruce met us upon arrival, gave us a tour of the property and departed. There are several houses/buildings on the property. A main house I believe Bruce lives in. A smaller home (there appeared to be 3 staying in it during our stay) and our party of 6. We Sam the others from a distance and never interacted as there is a good amount of space between buildings, separate parking areas etc. Our favorite spot was the elevated outdoor balcony overlooking flathead lake. Cocktails and sunsets. Amazing. The furnishings were upper scale and nicely appointed. Literally the only downside -specific to our party - is there wasn’t really a good gathering “great room” for our entire party. There was however plenty of space for people to retreat to their own corners comfortably, so to speak. If you are looking for common areas while everyone having their own “retreat” this is the place. Lack of great room space isn’t really a negative as much as a good to know. The accommodations were superb and bruce was an amazing host. Highly, highly recommended.

Majestic Flathead Vista

Amazing one month stay for ourselves and numerous rotating guests. Secluded mountain peace, beautiful lake views, first class accommodations in each of the living spaces. Tree house was a hit! Location close to all the lake activities, restaurants, etc. The property hosts Bruce and Kelly could not have possibly been more endearing and helpful. We will 100% be coming back!

Amazing vacation home

Thank you Bruce and Kelly for making our vacation stay so memorable. Everything from fresh flowers and well stocked fridge added to gorgeous decor and amazing views of flathead lake.
