Charged $25/day for parking, where Expedia's cost was supposed to include all costs. Absolutely obnoxious that they would charge an additional fee to park in a WIDE OPEN suburban location with plenty of open parking spots and knowing that the only way to get to the place is by car not train, bus, bike, etc. Instead of nickel and diming the customer why don't they just add their unfair cost into the price of the room?

Can’t beat the location especially the beach access. The room size was and furnishings were great. The not so great was the noise .. we stayed on the first floor and the pounding noise from the floor above was insane .. we could not sleep! If I were to stay there again I would definitely ask for 2nd floor way to much money to spend and not be able to sleep.

The bed was good staff ok not to friendly breakfast expensive 56.00 for a bagel and a omelette really 2 coffees . There were bugs on the wall going down the stairs to main level really for 450 a night that should be happening . Loved that it was I. The beach drinks also very expensive but it’s vacation but to much . Only 1 place for dinner skippers !!!!!! Wouldn’t go back to this area ….

Not a good value for the price.

Many of the rooms are a parking lot view. Rooms are not cleaned daily only fresh towels, so try to be careful not to track sand into your room. Our room had a broken door the entire time, so it was kind of a pain. Asked to switch rooms as soon as we checked in. We were denied. Staff is friendly and you get to use facilities of the Blue Water Resort next door, so that was nice.

Beach location is very nice- bring a tent/cover, resort will not give out umbrellas if it is too windy. Room with bunk beds was well thought out- we really struggled with drain flies in our room. Maintenance had to come in twice, did not fix the problem. If you are planning to purchase food/drinks on the resort, it is expensive, and prepare for a 20% gratuity added automatically on every purchase. Give yourself extra time at check in if it’s busy/ staff is friendly- however we were checked in to a room where another family was already staying due to a computer glitch. We were moved to another room in another building.
