"Very updated clean two bedroom 1 bathroom cottage.Ample amount of comfortable furniture both inside and outside the cottage. The sun shade over the outdoor sofa was perfect ! The lake side hammock was a huge hit with my husband.For an additional fee the hosts would provide firewood for your stay as well as have on site kayaks, paddle board and paddle boat.The property hosts were very pleasant, accommodating and communicated Very well and quickly.This is a great place to unwind and enjoy nature, we saw deer at the lakes edge, geese flying in and swimming around the lake.Big Rapids was just a short drive for a small day trip.We stopped at two not so far restaurants, The Royale Grille and Antlers Fireside Grille, which were both delicious."

"Very nice accommodations - exactly what was described. Plenty of toys for our kids (5-18) and a great yard for outside games. Cheryl was kind enough to order a corn hole game for our group and we gave it a good workout. Beds are quite comfortable, kitchen well-appointed (could use a large stockpot), and given the horrible heat our week, the AC was terrific. We hardly strayed from the house!"

"The cabin was very clean and well cared for. We appreciated the charm of the original wood floors, walls, and the cute antique metal table. We had everything we needed. The only thing we would like to see, is more wall hooks in the bedroom. The drawers under the bed are cool, but we like to hang more clothing up. The beach area was great."

"We got to stay in a larger cabin because someone wanted to original cabin for multiple days and we were staying just for one night. We were in Cabin 2. The cabin had lots of room. The A/C unit kept the place cool on a day that reached 97F. The host turned on the A/C before we got there to cool the cabin down which was really appreciated since we just finished bicycling over 40 miles from Grand Rapids. The shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The bed was comfortable. We were able to purchase ice for our drinks which was a very pleasant surprise. The cabin has a refrigerator and freezer. Everything was clean and comfortable. The White Pine Trail rides right in front of the campground entrance, so it was very convenient to get to when riding on the trail. The bicycle ride into east side of Big Rapids was less than 10 minutes. We had dinner at the Sawmill Saloon. Simple fare, but good. Wish we could have sat out on the back patio, but it was just too hot."

"We had a great time at this house. Lots of space for our large family. We had ages from 1 1/2 to 90 years old! Front porch was a plus and very enjoyable when it rained the first day. We had a hot week so nice to have the shade in the backyard in the afternoon. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. We would rent again for sure!"
