Walking distance to downtown. Soaker tub and a handicap shower. Handicap stove and extra wide doorways. There are a few steps up to the entrance. Stone and hardwood flooring. Whether you are visiting for business, family or vacation, this separate unit is the very best option for enjoyment and peace of mind. Apartment size washer and dryer, handy for longer stays.
We operate a whale watching business in St. Andrews (Jolly Breeze) and are offering the Granny Suite attached to side of our home for rent. The unit has a kitchenette, soaker tub and a stand up shower, wireless internet and TV. One bedroom with a queen size bed (Made in Canada Douglas foam mattress and pine bed, natural bamboo protector. There is a couch/futon queen size. Located 1/2 mile to downtown Water street and close to the Algonquin Hotel. Private driveway and entrance. Heat pump for heat or air conditioning as needed for your comfort. Sleeps 3 occupancy max. (one queen bed plus one queen futon).

This apartment feels like a duplex, with only one shared wall. Although small, it had everything needed, very comfortable, withing walking distance of stores and restaurants. The hosts were attentive and caring. I enjoyed my 5 days there.

Everything we needed for our visit to St. Andrews. Within easy walking distance to the town’s attractions. Comfortable space to return to after exploring. (Only freezer is in the mini fridge.)

It was like being away and cozy at home all in one. It`s far away enough to be quiet and free from the crowds, but close enough to park and walk to anything downtown. If you`re staying in St. Andrew`s check the Jolly Whale first. Anything else won`t be as cozy.

The place was lovely and close to the main dining and shopping area. Futon in the living room was very creaky and you could hear everything going on in the main house as only a door separates the two units. We weren’t able to get Netflix on the TV, other than that, the place was spotless and lovely decorated.

A Very enjoyable stay!
From the minute we walked into our cool and refreshing apartment we knew we had made a good choice. It was clean and well organized and seemed to have everything we needed, even a washer and dryer. Very nice property, in a very nice location, with very nice hosts
Staying here definitely contributed to how much we enjoyed our short stay at St Andrews. The "cottage" is very clean, nicely decorated, spacious, with all the amenities, including laundry. We did use the pullout bed and it was comfortable since besides the ridge between the seat and back cushions, there are no other dips and ridges that make so many pullouts uncomfortable. Location is key, and we mostly walked to anywhere we needed to go within St Andrews' downtown area, which has great food, and used the care for any hikes further away. Joanne, was really nice, both before and during our stay. I highly recommend.
