Beautiful amenities right near the beach. Wonderful beach view! Very helpful and courteous staff. Breakfast was nice. The free baked cookies and popcorn in the evening was a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again.

The air conditioning in my room, #115, was not working properly. The room was supposed to have a king bed instead of 2 doubles. I loved the location, the beach was beautiful and the breakfast as well as the coffee and tea available was excellent.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE UNLESS YOU LIKE EXTRA FEES OUR ROOM WAS NOT THE OCEAN VIEW BALCONY ROOM. I WAS GIVEN THE LOWER OCEAN PATIO BERM VIEW. The safety lock on the patio was broken.The blind pull was off. The best part was the closing section of the glass shower door was missing and the shower handle was lying broken on the shower shelf. The staff seemed to be conditioned to explain the extra fees. I was reimbursed for their fees$125 but now I need to speak with Expedia.

Boutique for the win

This boutique is pristine and reminded me of the hotels i traveled to as a child with my grandparents. Owners have taken great pride in providing all the amenities needed and the beach is beautiful.

We hadn’t been to St. Augustine in years and were not sure what to expect. Beach access and trolley access to historic downtown was very convenient. Lots of toys and games for the kids and it was pet friendly! Great experience.

Fabulous property, be aware of fees

Amazing location and property. It’s an older hotel that has been well renovated with every luxury you can imagine and a few you didn’t! The view from the balcony is fantastic for sunrise photos and I happen to be there during a rocket launch, and you can see the launch from the property. Across the street is the beach that the facility has and it’s a beautiful section of sand and sea. The breakfast area is clean and bright and choices are extremely varied with items for every dietary requirement. Staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning to stay. The only problem I have with this hotel are the hidden fees. Be advised that the nightly rate is not what you’re getting. I did not read the fine print properly and was unpleasantly surprised to find that my room rate that was listed well under $100 was actually almost 200 with all the fees. I understand why they do it, but it was a jolting and unplanned expense.

I was looking for a quiet hotel, a little bit away from the heart of the tourist area. This hotel checked that box. I wasn’t expecting a Ramada or The Four Seasons. Room was okay. Property was okay. Beach was actually nice and not too busy. Breakfast was okay. Staff was pleasant when they weee available. My real aggravation was I paid all-inclusive via Expedia and then was charged $70 additional per night as a service fee. Called the hotel. They said “we’ll fix it if you can find your welcome letter”. I booked 5-6 months ago and could not find “proof”. Had I realized I was paying twice to stay here I would’ve gone elsewhere. Not worth the money I paid in total.

This is an aging motel from the 1950 s that is selling itself as a “boutique” hotel. Just old and shabby. It sits in a parking lot with the beach across the street. The beach was nice.
