I loved the location of the property. It was very ideal to attend events for the carnival. It was close to stores and eateries (late night eateries too). The staff was very nice, helpful and considerate. I needed late check out because my flight was a night flight and they accommodated my needs free of charge. I plan to suggest this location to anyone I know visiting this property. What I did not like was that the Wifi did not work in my room. I only got good wifi service when I was by the reception area. Also the tiles in the shower was extremely slippery. I fell twice but luckily I didn't hurt myself to the point where I needed medical attention. Besides that everything was great.

Don't judge a book by it's cover.

I wasn't expecting much but was so pleasantly surprised with the room, view and amenities. The map wasn't great but the taxi driver rang and got it sorted. There wasn't actually a sign that said Backpackers. It was pretty near the cruise ship wharf and not much further to buses to English Harbour. The reception were great and checked to see if I had everything I needed. While the area seemed a bit seedy it was quite safe to go out at night. Local and Chinese food close.

Lousy facility with no water

For two days in morning no hot water and even the cold water supply was so low in force that taking shower felt like taking none. Room cleaning was done at irregular times and the lighting in the room was very poor. There were only two light bulbs in the whole living area.

Authentic Antigua experience

The owner was exceptionally friendly, the room was nice and the balcony was expansive. Very close to beautiful, sparsely populated beaches. Only thing holding it back from five stars is that the bathroom needs an upgrade. Enjoyed my stay and would go again.

Touch Therapies, een salon voor health en wellness, is gevestigd in een gebouw aan de Fort Road, op ongeveer 800 meter/ 14min. wandelen van het centrum van St. John’s en de *Barbuda Express*. Een betonnen trap met 18 treden aan de buitenzijde van het gebouw geeft toegang tot de eerste verdieping, waar 5 accommodatie’s, waarvan 1 permanent bewoond, uit komen op een galerij. De accommodatie’s worden beschreven als appartementen, doch no. 4 is een minder aantrekkelijke studio. De accommodatie’s zijn niet toegankelijk voor rolstoelen. Alle accommodatie’s beschikken over een keuken en kleine badkamer met warmwater voorziening. Het leidingwater is ongekookt niet geschikt als drinkwater. De gratis wifi bleek zwak van signaal, terwijl het tv signaal erg slecht was. De afstandbediening werkte ten dele en de verlichting is te zwak om bij te lezen.  Het gehuurde appartement no. 1 bleek qua ligging en indeling naar wens, maar diende zonder voor af gaand overleg na 1 nacht verblijf te worden gewisseld voor studio no. 4, een verzoek dat niet werd gehonoreerd, waarna de aanvankelijke prima service en klantvriendelijkheid reduceerde tot nul. Gedurende het 10-daagse verblijf werd het appartement, dat bij aankomst al vuil was, in het geheel niet schoongemaakt. Het smalle tweepersoonsbed werd slechts 1 maal verschoond en de badlakens 2x. De stortbak van de wc werkte gedurende het gehele verblijf niet, ondanks

Ganske forfærdeligt - faldefærdigt og beskidt.

Lejligheden svarede slet ikke til beskrivelse og billeder. Møgbeskidt overalt. Ingen møbler, bortset fra en gammel beskidt sofa i det en hjørne. Bruseren sad helt løs. Vandhanen i køkkenet sprøjtede opad. Mangelfuldt udstyret køkken - kun en enkelt kniv, revnede plastikglas. Ingen steder at opbevare tøj. Kommodeskuffer var uden bund eller kunne ikke åbnes. Intet spejl i hele lejligheden. Havemøbler var faldefærdige og måtte bindes sammen.
