"The Edmond" an 1887 Arts & Crafts gem! - 1 King - 1 Queen

The Edmond is a historic 1887, Arts and Crafts style house, with 2 bedroom/1 bath located on the upper floor of this whimsical duplex with great views of the historic downtown. Parking is on the street in front of the house and has keypad entrance with personal code, free WIFI, TV with Amazon Prime included, living room with comfy rocker/recliners and couch, desk area, reading nook, dining room, full kitchen, balcony off kitchen and plush bedding all within a 5 minute walk to downtown.

Meticulously restored, this 1887 unit is sure to impress. The interior is well appointed with thought into every piece of furniture, rugs, drapes and bedding to create an experience that will leave a lasting impression you will not find at a hotel. The warmth of the place is felt with the original hardwood floors, trim and character of the Arts & Crafts movement.

We are utilizing self-check-in these days, but if you needing anything the manager is located around the corner.

The Edmond is located in the Museum Hill historic district and is surrounded by an array of beautiful historic properties including mansions and museums. There is a walking tour book provided that highlights some of the amazing houses in this area. Be sure to walk by the Vineyard Mansion which is our sister property.

The Edmond is located within a 5 minute walk from the historic downtown. Close to restaurants, bars, breweries, live theater, shops, coffee bars and more.

Property was just as described. Street parking in front of house. Steep stairs going up to house. Located close to downtown in quiet neighborhood. The house is a great place for hanging out and spending time with family and friends. We had a lovely stay.

Beautifully furnished house. The bed was so comfortable and the sheets like silk. Had a lovely dinner at Boudreaux .Be sure and try the cajun mashed potatoes and the seafood jambalaya> Yum

Beautiful period house

Beautiful period house with amenities galore. Kitchen full of snacks and coffee to get you going. Be aware there are lots of stairs
no problem for us. One snafu with temperature but I think we just weren’t smart enough to figure out thermostat. St Joe has some amazing museums!

Benedictine parents-this is a FABULOUS place!!!

This charming home was just perfect for us to stay overnight en route to dropping off our student at Benedictine. It was clean, spacious, 1/2 hour from campus, safe location, and so beautifully decorated with antiques. The owner thought of so many lovely little touches, like the pantry full of grab and go snacks. We loved our stay and will definitely he back.

Gothic VanDeventer Home

This review is actually for the 1867 Gothic VanDeventer Home. We were unable to stay at the Edmund because of scheduling issues, but we were able to get the VanDeventer Home for no extra cost. It was a very clean comfortable. It was cool to stay in a historic house. The host was very nice and had great communication. The home is within a short walk of venues downtown. The area was very quiet. I would definitely stay here again if I am inSt. Joe.

Bull riding stay

Looking for a cute down town place this is perfect!! They have coffee and snacks. The bed is so comfortable! The only down fall is how steep the stairs are getting up to the door. If you struggle with stairs this is not a place you want to stay. They have a lot of stairs to the door as well as when you get inside you have to go up stairs. It is a duplex as well so you can hear the people under you. Overall it is a super cute place though and is in a great spot.
