This amazing 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo has an open and spacious living and dining room area, a fully stocked and beautifully updated kitchen with granite counter tops, lovely décor with tasteful colors, tile and wood flooring throughout as well as a lovely balcony right off of the living room. Each condo has 2 balconies for use, 1 off the Master bedroom and the other overlooking the Gulf of Mexico! This location is perfect for a family getaway as there is a park in the front of the property and a pool and the beach in back! Unit #2 is 1 flight of stairs up and on the north corner. Come and play on our beaches today!! PLEASE NOTE: This is a totally non smoking property. There is no elevator at this location, only stairs for access. Sunset Villas is a unique and adorable beachfront property in Redington Shores. This location has 4 different 2-bedroom, 2 bath units with each having a semi private beachfront balcony from the living room area as well as a private balcony off the front of the condo. Each condo has a comfortable beach décor throughout, individual washer and dryer for use, onsite parking and each sleeping up to 5 guests. Onsite is a heated - private pool, direct beach access, playground area across the street for the kids, charcoal grill and patio area for those evening cookouts along with everything else that you need for a truly memorable beach vacation

The area is great too! Redington Shores is ideally located and close to everything. You will find John’s Pass Village approximately 2.5 miles to the South which is filled with shopping, restaurants, water activities and entertainment for all. Redington Beach is a quaint beach town that is just a short drive outside of St Petersburg, a city loaded with museums, art galleries, restaurants and shopping. Experience the surrounding towns by hopping on the Jolley Trolley and enjoying the many sights and activities known to the area. Ehh

We enjoyed the closeness to the beach and within walking distance to a few restaurants. Also the fact that there’s only 4 total condos in the building. However the pool was dirty and the jets didn’t work. We liked the fact that we had 2 balconies but if the people above us dropped anything or were drying their bathing suits on the beach facing balcony the water/dirt would drip onto you and/your table.

Nice getaway

Nice, roomy unit and large countertop area. Pots and pans were sufficient but you need to bring your own sugar, salt & pepper. No inventory of that kind was available as I have had in other rentals. Pool was dirty - needed to be vacuumed badly. No one came in the four days we were there. I will agree with the other reviews that having to drive 20+ minutes out of the way to retrieve the keys and return them was an unnecessary inconvenience for 2023....time to update to a keypad already. Great access to the beach and nice view from the deck. Small playground available within walking distance.

Nice Location, Needs Some Work

This is an older property that needs some TLC. The back railing was so loose I would not let my children on that balcony. The patio furniture was stained with mildew. The door lockset was loose and needed to be tightened. Check-in and check-out is not at all convenient. You must drive 20 minutes to the property manager’s office to pick up and drop off keys. Upgrading to a digital lock would drastically improve the process. The location is nice and my children enjoyed the beach and nearby park.

MOLDY AND DIRTY

If you do not want to have a bad vacation, stay somewhere else. This place is dirty, moldy and wore out. We checked in at night and when we arrive the place was dirty with blood stained bedding. Called the management company, they sent cleaners our but would not replace the bedding. The next day we noticed black mold coming out of the vents. The management company and the owner of this condo does not care about renters, only the money. We tried to work with them but no action on their end. We ended up checking out after the second night and going to another place. They refund zero of the 4 night rent money. I have stayed in many vrbos across the county and this place is by far the worst.

Great rental, nice beachfront condo with great view!

Other than having to go down to St. Pete's beach for the keys, we were very happy with the condo. A lockbox at the unit would be great. It was out of our way to have to drive south to drop off the keys and go back north to St. Pete's airport. It adds about 20 unnecessary minutes to our trip. The condo was clean and very comfortable.

Great location but no private view of beach

Pros: good location, 3 beds, washer dryer & clean. Great communication by rental company. Nice size kitchen. Comfy furniture. Cons: scratchy sheets, no privacy for beach view. You and your neighbor will share same balcony. When you want to drink coffee in peace you will see and hear your neighbor. Only 1 tv for your condo. Check in and check out inconvenient. Also the fridge & freezer does not cool down for 2 days
 so all ice cream will melt & some of your food will go bad. No extra blankets or pillows.

I wish they hada key pad entry so didn't have to drive to to your office to pick up a key! The other condo's we rented out in Panama City Fl. were key pad entries! We loved the condo and access to the beach!

Good location

The unit is large for a two bedroom oceanfront, especially in Florida. It was very well equipped, especially the kitchen. You can’t beat the location and proximity to the beach. The view from the deck is great. Overall, a positive experience! However, I have to be honest with potential renters that may read reviews. There are some drawbacks to staying here: 1. Checking in and leaving. The lock box pickup is inconvenient as you have to drive out of your way to physically pickup and drop off keys. I haven’t had to use actual keys at a vacation property for several years. Not sure why they haven’t changed to keypad locks by now? 2. Lack of privacy inside and out. The walls are paper thin. Indoors, you can literally hear every word of conversation from the unit above or below, especially if the tv is off and no appliances are running. You pretty much share a deck with your neighbors on the same level as you. If you stay on the lower level, the folks above you have an unobstructed view into your place as they use the stairs. This is fine, if you have polite people staying above or beside you, we did not! Do not stay on the lower level if you don’t want to hear every footstep, chair pullout, or toilet flush the folks above you make. Also, if on the lower level, you can expect crumbs of food, any spills, and even dripping from wet swimsuits to rain down on you due to the near 1/2 inch gaps in the decking boards above you. 3. Uncomfortable furniture in the living area and on the deck. The only television was in the living area with none in either of the bedrooms. It would have been nice to drown out some of the neighbors noise with a tv in the bedroom. 4. The rusty interior of the drier drum stained the only load of laundry we attempted.

Perfect location, needs a little updating

Overall my family and I LOVED this place. The location is perfect. Right on the beach with minimal crowds (for this time of year), and the pool was in sight for me to comfortably watch our youngest swim. The beds are comfy and the space itself is spacious, welcoming and enjoyable. My only "issue" is that the condo is listed as fully equipped but the pans, knives, and such in the kitchen were a little lacking. The outdoor furniture could use some updates as the cushions were smooshed down, and the under supports were worn out, making you lean forward due to the unevenness. The indoor furniture just needs a good steem clean but nothing horrible there. We will definitely be back though!! Best vacation we've ever been on!

Needs updates, great location

We made this trip a special girls sister trip as my sister is very ill and we wanted so nice low key adult time. We got in town early and we thought we could at least pick up the keys to the unit so we would not have to travel back and forth knowing we could not enter until the agreed 3 pm, but the management refused, which I understood. Once we got to the unit, we had several issues. The main room fan was wobbling so hard we thought it would come out of the ceiling if we left it on, the coffee pot was cracked and when I approached the owner she did give me a replacement but it was too large for the machine. The dishwasher was full of dishes which were not even clean and no dish soap was available so I had to go to the store to buy some and a scrubber, not a good way to start the vacation. We were followed by the stove not working well if using multiple burners at the same time, so we just cooked one thing at a time. Then the washer was not draining and when I called the office, they said there was not much they could do at 3 pm on a Saturday and we had a 5 am flight out that next morning. So I eventually got it working and hand drained multiple clothes but no apology or concerns we given to me. Like I know things happen and people are in and out of the units but my goodness. I gave the owner the same criticism on a paper review when I turned in my key and a few days to call me to discuss things but I heard absolutely nothing. Also please be aware that this is a four unit building so when it is full, the pool area gets pretty noisy and crowded. I got lucky and had a nice older couple most of the time but the day before we left multiple families with kids came which again I am not faulting. It just gets noisy. If they facility had been in better working order I would have given it 5 stars as the location is absolutely amazing! Would consider going back if it would have the terms fixed.

Very loud

I read reviews saying this place was very clean. Upon arrival to the place I immediately noticed that it wasn’t very “clean”. The air filter was filthy, there was clutter everywhere (kitchen), sliding door full of grease and sand, lots of dust. Another issue I had was the noise. If you were trying to be quiet... everyone in the building could still hear you. I have two year olds so I would not stay here if I knew they would be such a disturbance. I felt terrible for our neighbors. They even asked if I could keep them quiet till 830.... like that was a reasonable thing to ask. The downstairs pool area was clean but the community floats were just left a mess with broken pieces of plastic and trash. The property is very nice but definitely needs to be kept better. I loved the location and closeness to the beach. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Great sunsets

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and spent a great deal of time on the waterfront balcony. We had good neighbors and that helps because everyone used the same stairs, past the units, to get to the beach. There was construction going on next door so we did have to keep the windows closed at times. An easy walk to the convenience store and a wonderful neighborhood restaurant on the same street. Access to the beach is fantastic. This was a girlfriend getaway for two and I recommend this property for this.

Location Location Location

My family and I stayed at Sunset Villas 2, which is on the lower level of a 4-plex (two units on top and two units on the bottom). The location was perfect with the back patio overlooking the pool and beach! We had an issue where the AC stopped working, but with the Nest thermometers, the HVAC company came out to fix the issue before we had the chance to call the rental company. Most of the time we only had to share the pool with one other family since the other units checked out the day we arrived. The only minor frustration we had was that on our last night, two families arrived in the upper units and we could clearly hear their footsteps throughout the night - to the point where we were unable to sleep. Luckily, it was only for our last night, so the inconvenience was minimal.

Nice stay when I was there I had the whole place to myself. It’s so nice that the beach is so close and so beautiful kitchen was huge only negative was that the deck off of the master bedroom was not towards the water I thought it wise. They should have a floorplan

Nice place - phenomenal location
