Sunset Vistas 610N is a 2 bedroom 2 full bathroom condo that sleeps 6 people with a King in the master bedroom, a Queen in the guest bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. You will have an amazing sunset view right from your balcony! This unit has been freshly updated, with free parking, free WIFI, a washer and dryer in the unit, 3 TVs (42` flat screen in the living room), and DVD players. You will love sitting outside to enjoy the private balcony with your favorite beverage. This property features a tropical courtyard with waterfalls, a heated pool, a children`s wading pool, and 2 whirlpools. Gulf Front Treasure Island got its name from an early hotel owner who buried and discovered a couple of wooden chests on the beach. The hotelier claimed that the chests were filled with treasure. News of the discovery spread quickly, and people began calling the area Treasure Island. Treasure Island is adjacent to St. Petersburg and central to everything.

The rental unit was in poor condition. Cupboards were broken in multiple places, paneling was pealing right off. All beding was filthy and we had to wash it. Blood spots on comfortors. Sofa was greasy and stained.which caused us to put a sheet over the sofa the entire 10 days. Outdated oven was rusted. Shower curtain rings were rusted and bled on curtain and towels. Toilet stool seat was broken. Exterior balcony door had to be fixed as it wouldnt lock. Management company was very dismisive when we said ac wasnt working correctly. Temperature in unit was never comfortable the entire 10 days. Building supplies in our unit which is already very small. Beach is great. Tiki bar is great. Id rent from other company in future. This Management company doesnt get it.

5-Star Views, Great Stay — But Parking Needs ImprovementOverall, we had an excellent stay! The condo was clean, the views were beautiful, and the location is absolutely fabulous—right on the beach with easy access to both the ocean and the pool. Communication leading up to our trip was top-notch, which made the check-in process smooth and stress-free.The only issue we encountered during our 7-day stay was the parking situation, which was honestly a mess. Vehicles were parked along the sides and front of the building, making it hard to navigate. I saw several guests struggling to back out, and we heard multiple people mention their reserved spots were taken—including ours.One afternoon, after returning from the grocery store, we found someone in our reserved space. We went to the front office, and they said they would “try” to find the owner and told us to “just park out front.” We did exactly that—and received a parking violation because the area wasn’t part of Sunset Vista property.We spoke with the property manager, who basically said there was nothing they could do since we parked in the wrong spot—even though we followed the staff’s directions. It was frustrating and could’ve easily been avoided.Suggestion: Have guests provide license plate numbers at check-in so it’s easy to identify and contact those parked in the wrong spot. A quick phone call could save everyone a lot of aggravation.Despite that issue, we really did enjoy our time here and would return.

The unit was disgusting. Everything from dirty, to rusty appliances/shower rods, entire shower liner was mold ridden, rotting door jam, and if that all wasn’t enough, bloodied bedding linen. STAY AWAY from this unit and establishment. I couldn’t get any assistance from the manager the day we arrived until 11:00pm at night when she finally responded to my calls, and told me it was too late to contact the owner. I demanded a full refund and wanted to leave then, and she said she couldn’t authorize it. She said she would bring me a new mattress pad and shower liner THE NEXT MORNING. When I asked what I was to do until then, sleep in my car?, she responded by saying just take the bloodied linen off the bed! I have full documentation of the place in picture form, and filed a police report to have that on record if I did not receive a full refund. I can’t stress enough, don’t stay here. Horrible unit and a horrible start to what was supposed to be a relaxing time away.

We checked in with a non-working fridge, leaking washer, dirty coffee maker, and dirt swept into a pile by door. Cabinets are in awful shape, pieces pulling off, lopsided doors.. Property Managers help was to send a tech who could not repair during our stay, and make a big deal about calling the texh even though, as property manager, that is your responsibility. How about taking care of the short term renters who put their faith in this being a decent place to stay sith working and clean appliances and cabinets. There was NO offer to make right or reimburse us for having to use a laundry mat.

Beautiful view of Treasure Island Beach

This Sunset Vistas condo had a beautiful view of the beach. It was clean and had all of the kitchen amenities we were looking for. The condo itself could use a few updates. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets were peeling but the tub/shower and kitchen countertops seemed up to date. The pillows were very flat where we had to sleep on two of them to get a good night's rest. The bedrooms were very small, with not much room to keep luggage or a lot of dresser space to unpack clothes. The condo did have several beach items for anyone traveling with kids or needing a cooler to take on the beach. Sandy Beach Vacation Rentals did connect with us ahead of time to find out when we expect to arrive and also communicated an issue with the toilet so we were aware before we arrived. Check in and check out was easy, especially since the unit included a list of reminders of what needed to be done prior to checkout. The people that worked at the beach bar were very friendly as were the cafe staff. I wished we would've found the cafe earlier in our trip. I would recommend this unit for anyone wanting a beach view condo, and a place to stay for 4 people.

Wonderful location!

This is the 5th or 6th time we've stayed at Sunset Vistas, so, needless to say, we like it there very much. The condos are spacious and (for the most part) well equipped. The grounds are clean, and the pool area is well-kept. The children's pool is wonderful. The beach is close, which makes it easier for our young grandchildren. John's Pass is within walking distance, either along the beach or along Gulf Blvd. All-in-all, I highly recommend Sunset Vistas for a vacation stay.

Great weekend trip!

We enjoyed the amenities of both the room and the property. Great view of the sunset over the water. Short walk from the room to the pool and to the beach. The room even had some pool towels and coolers we could use while there. The room was clean. Minimal cosmetic issues of the cabinets were noted but obviously did not affect our stay. The contact was quick to respond along the way. Overall, fantastic and we will be back! 😊

Nice short stay

We stayed 3 nights 2 kids ages 15 & 10. They both enjoyed the pool and how close they were to the beach. Pool was nice and clean. The condo was nice and clean plenty of beach toys n chairs also included an umbrella. The property was nice our only complaint would be the wait for the elevator and how hot it was I I side it. Would stay here again nice views of the beach and pool

The unit was great. Very comfortable - we loved it. Except we kept stubbing our feet on the threshold going out to the patio. The property is not able to accommodate more than 1 vehicle per unit, but with families coming from from all over Florida & out of state that wasn’t an option for us. An elevator was out the whole stay and the ones that were working had expired certificates in them. Which didn’t give much comfort.

Beachfront family vacation

Sunset Vistas was a great vacation! Condo had everything we needed for a weeks stay. Great for a family with teens and younger kids. The beachfront location was perfect, beautiful view - spent part of the day on the beach and then headed to the pool. The pool bar was fun for the adults and the Cafe was easy for a delicious sandwich! The location in Treasure Island was convenient to do activities in Tampa (the Zoo, Busch Gardens, Tampa Bay Rays baseball game) or a drive up or down the gulf coast to explore (Tarpon Springs).

Everything was in very nice condition, clean, plenty of towels and well stocked kitchen. I did suggest the teflon fry pans need replaced as they are all peeling. Tv was a pain in the butt but the mgmt worked with me to get this situation manageable.
