This Two Bedroom condominium has a "Skis and Spurs" theme and spectacular mountain views. The well equipped kitchen also has a large crock pot. There is seating for six to seven (if the bench seat is utilized) at the dining room table and an additional three at the kitchen counter. The living area has a flat screen TV with a DVD player, and a wood burning stove. The primary bedroom has a TV, an en-suite bathroom and mountain views. The second bedroom also has a mountain view.

Ski in ski out!

Great location with ski locker on first floor which is such a bonus with a ski vacation as well as the hot tub after a long day on mountain. Would suggest an update to pots and pans and kitchen supplies. A large bowl for pasta or salad would be a great addition and very inexpensive upgrade. Dishes do not match, are chipped, dull knives, etc
 Property management did supply a new can opener which was appreciated. We stayed in same layout of unit year before and the removal of the carpet was a nice touch with floors that were easier to keep clean and sanitized. We like Storm Meadows and the amenities offered. It was a great stay over Christmas. Thank you! Will recommend

The condo at Mountain Resorts was everything I could hope for. I would recommend to anybody looking for a really good property on the mountain. The only complaint is the transportation into town was not very good, very limited hours.

Outdated property, misleading online listing

I would never have rented this property if I had known it didn’t have air conditioning—surprise #1. With fees and taxes, the price almost doubled versus the advertised nightly price--surprise #2. It was 85 degrees outside everyday—returning to a hot, stuffy condo each day was tough. At 3 o-clock in the morning, the temperature was fine. For the afternoon, it was uncomfortable. There was no mention of missing A/C before we booked and paid. Also, a washer and dryer are listed as amenities. The condo does not have a washer and dryer—it’s available on the broader property, but they are not in the unit. Those are 2 very different things—surprise #3. Location is great and the unit itself is OK, but the listing is nowhere near clear enough about key features. If this was a winter rental, air conditioning wouldn’t have made a difference. But, this was a summer rental on the 3rd floor. Outside of these 3 surprises, the unit itself was OK, just in need of an update from 70’s construction. One touch on a toilet paper holder and the mechanism fell to the floor. In one of the rooms, a lightbulb was hanging sideways off of the base—seems like a fire hazard. These are all things that are fixable, but they need to be fixed

Comfortable unit with great access to hiking trails

This property served our family well in Steamboat for a week in summer. The view from the balcony and easy access to hiking trails were highlights. We used the access trail to walk down to the coaster and other activities at the resort as well as access the free bus service to downtown. The unit was clean and comfortable and the laundry facilities were close, clean and easy to use.

Needs updating and modern conveniences

The proprty was clean. Great view out the balcony. Easy access to a lot of amenities. Didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. This property just lacks some conveniences that you take for granted when you usually stay in hotels. We checked in late. We needed some drinking water, but the water tasted like old pipes (I know the water source is good in the area as I have 10 years of experience working on and staying in a house just up the street, and that water is great). I could deal with that if I had ice. No ice maker in freezer, no ice machine on the property. Had to go get water and ice at 11pm. Kitchen and baths were fully functional. The kitchen didn’t have a lot of things if you are planning on cooking much. But it and the baths could use a bit of updating. All decor mentally takes you back a few decades. The mattress had two body holes that you fell into. Time to get something a bit less like a bean bag. To summarize, just don’t expect to be blown away by the accommodations. However, there was nothing that seemed dirty or disgusting. Just plan on buying some water, ice, and miscellaneous supplies if you’re going to spend a few days there. Don’t let my less than possitive experience keep you away if you don’t care about those items.
