Our stay was great, check in was pretty easy and everything was as described. The largest frustration however was the lack of cleaning supplies in the kitchen. We had no dish soap or sponges to clean dishes after cooking breakfast, and for a short weekend stay it’s frustrating to have to go out and purchase that. There also was only hand soap in one bathroom (none in the kitchen), which again was frustrating. There were however some bathroom toiletries which was a nice touch. Overall, I would stay here again as we enjoyed our stay and this fit our group perfectly, plus the theme and decor was adorable.

First visit to Steamboat

The property was great and actually had four separate beds, which was perfect for me and my three kids. We are used to going to Breckenridge, where the town and the ski lifts are actually walkable to each other and I just misjudged how to spread out things were in steamboat and so this house is kind of centrally located between each, but it does require actually getting a car ride to go anywhere. There is a bus stop that is available but it’s a good 10 or 15 minute walk from the property which in an emergency, which we actually had to use because Uber/Lyft is not dependable in steamboat, so in a pinch at least it’s there.Certainly no issues with the property itself as long as you understand that you’ll have to take either car or bus to get wherever you need to go.

Great Steamboat Stay

The property was lovely and as described in the listing, 4 bedrooms (3 upstairs, 1 down), 3 full bathrooms (1 upstairs Jack & Jill, 2 down), large kitchen, multiple big screen TVs, steam shower, jetted tub, laundry in unit, and more. I really appreciated the ability to choose from a variety of pillow styles for sleeping! The decoration was authentic and gave off a modern cabin-like vibe. We were very pleased with our stay and have already recommended the location to other friends. Just a few suggestions for instructions and the property management packet of information. When we arrived there was an acknowledgement form of rules and regulations. We filled it out, but it didn't say what to do with it. It also said we would need to drop off the parking passes at Retretia, but the passes were time-specific, dated with our stay and we would be leaving when the property management office was closed. After calling the number listed a few times, I was finally able to get through and was told that we could leave both the parking passes and the check-in sheet in the unit. I also asked about the trash receptacle padlock as the number listed in the instructions was incorrect, but they weren't aware of a change. It wasn't working, but luckily I was able to crawl under to throw the trash away. A suggestion for the reservation confirmation would be to include instructions for the steam shower and jetted tub as. A back up roll of paper towels and a corkscrew would be helpful too. Thanks!

This property was a great find for us. The accommodations were spacious, clean and the kitchen was one of the better equipped kitchens we’ve seen. Close to downtown that had numerous options for dining. There’s a great wide walkway along the river that goes for miles with great scenery for the non skiers. I would highly recommend this property.

Nicely Situated Property

The property is conveniently located between the ski village and SteamBoat Springs - equally close to each, though you have to drive and not walk. The property was well equipped and all the appliances worked fine. Property was also very clean. The write up on VRBO said the property had four bedrooms. It actually has four beds, but only three bedrooms. This caused a bit of a challenge for our group. As well, the write up said “hot tub” but in fact there is only a jacuzzi in the bath tub.

Misleading Listing, No Hot Tub

On arrival, we were disappointed to find that there is *no* hot tub at this property, despite it appearing on the listing. VRBO refused to file a claim on my behalf, citing the "lack of evidence" (I should have taken a video of the entire condo while I was there - lesson learned). I talked to the folks at Retreatia (property management company) a few times over the phone about the issue. They were friendly but seemed a bit confused about the issue, citing that they saw "no mention" of a hot tub on their internal listing. Putting the missing hot tub aside, the condo is on the third floor (accessible only via stairs) in a mixed-use building with businesses on the first and second floors. There were a couple other residential units in various stages of construction when we were there. Bit of a strange setup but no real drawbacks. The place itself was clean and spacious enough for our group. No corkscrew so we had to buy our own, and the fan/light combo downstairs doesn't work well. Overall would not stay here again in Steamboat for a ski vacation.

Very nice

Simple check in. Very clean which I enjoyed a lot. Plenty of room for our group of 7. Definitely would book this condo again. Only problem as a snowmobiler is parking, get that figured out before you arrive.

The Ranch at Hilltop

The address that was given to us was incorrect...Hilltop Pkwy vs Hilltop Way which took time off our arrival. Several broken items...bar chair, very few wine glasses, brokern window screen in 2nd upstairs bedroom. Should state no Air Conditioning as it was exceptionally hot.

Fun stay

Ski vacay. 1/2 way between downtown and ski resort. Many amenities close by. The condo is decorated in such a fun way. Comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms. It is on the third floor so it’s a bit of a haul after a day of skiing but well worth it.

Great location for SBT GRVL

Last minute booking for SBT GRVL event, Retreatia was great to work with whenever I had a question. After hours check-in was easy once we figured out exactly where the condo was located in the building. Would return for sure, proximity to downtown was a bonus.

Beautiful property

Loved this place. Was great for my group of 8. We loved everything about the property, it was well outfitted with kitchen supplies. It wasn't super close to the mountain, but it was so comfortable we didn't even mind. The place itself was kind of hard to find, and the after hours check in process was a tad confusing. But the management was very helpful when we got to speak to them in person. We would 100% stay here again!!
