The entire resort was spotless. The bed was comfortable and we had a beautiful view of the mountains. The rooms and sitting areas were all beautifully appointed and inviting. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and welcoming. The food in the dining room was superb. We can’t wait to come back for a longer stay in the fall.

We chose this resort because of its strong reputation, but the experience did not meet expectations. At check-in, we were not acknowledged, received no orientation, and no assistance was offered with luggage. At the on-site restaurant, although we were seated on time and ordered promptly, our table was largely ignored. The appetizer soup arrived about 40 minutes after we placed our order, only after we asked about it, and it was served cold. Overall attentiveness was noticeably lacking compared to surrounding tables. Additionally, basic in-room requests were not accommodated. For water or simple essentials such as toothpaste, we were told to go to the front desk ourselves, and nothing was delivered to the room. Management did follow up with an apology, which was appreciated, but no meaningful effort was made to address or make up for the experience.

While the room was large spacious and the lodge and trails were beautiful I felt gipped by the unexpected fees when booking that doubled the cost of the stay, which I was fine with but wasn’t expecting as we had already split the room. Additionally the beds were too firm and not comfortable

Staff was friendly, but certainly not to the extent I would have thought in this Resort. Room was nice, but it came with a price of $600 per night for the suite…..nothing out of the ordinary for the price. Breakfast buffet left little desire for the appetite for the price of $27 adults and $15 for kids. Dinner at the hotel was very overpriced for the meal….almost in every category. 3 ice creams and a 2” sq chocolate cake was $60, ouch…took over 45 minutes to get it served, unacceptable! No simple coffee/danish option in the main lodge…..had to go out in weather to go 1 mile away. And there, the service was very slow and it was pricey as well for no table service. Overall, I would seek other options for my next visit. We had better expectations!
