We were able to eat outdoors and our room in the lodge had a door to the outside grounds. We were only there for one night. Grounds were beautifully manicured and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Beautiful location!

Enjoyed our stay, great people at resort! But the rooms are very outdated.

Perfect Family Reunion

We have unique family reunions. My wife has three sisters and about once a year we all, sisters, husbands, and kids, meet someplace special and spend time together. This year we chose Boston...one reason...it was close enough for us to visit Vermont and stay awhile at the VonTrapp Lodge. Inspired by the beautiful love story and terrible unjustice that caused the VonTrapps to leave their country, we have all been intrigued by this families courage and strength. The Lodge was everything we thought it would be; we genuinely enjoyed our visit. One of our "favorite things" was seeing and reading the history in photographs displayed throughout the Lodge.

Always the best time

My family and I (two children ages 5 and 7) have now been to the Lodge 6 times in just over a year. We love it. Beautiful scenery, wonderful staff and always too many things to do and not enough time.
