So the staff are really good at this hotel but a number of issues came up. No door on the Bathroom other than the toilet and shower. Light controls on the outside of the area with the bathroom and shower. First room we were put in had the exhaust fans from the Resturant downs stairs going and sounded like a jet going when we got back to go to bed. They turned them down but had to wait until 11:30pm for them to be turned off. They allowed us to change rooms for the next night but that should be taken care of. All in all I wouldn’t stay there again.

Our stay at Mercer was excellent - great and friendly staff, lovely room, superb affiliated restaurant, and perfect location for a weekend away in Stratford. We will definitely be back!

The staff were amazing - very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was tasty and had a varied menu. The room we had was clean room, comfortable King bed, recently renovated bathroom was new and shiny and clean. The room lacked charm and warmth but had all the required amenities. Weird fireplece design in our room. I would go back but try another room. There was a huge AC or similar machine for the bldg beside that rumbled most of the night.

Obviously, not having an elevator is a drawback. The rooms we had were lovely, but the street noises and lights can get distracting. The location is perfect for walking everywhere so I guess it’s the trade off. Awkward and small staircases for walking with suitcases. Not good for elderly but awesome for able-bodied people. The convenience of having the bar downstairs is nice for a drink, and the room sizes were really good. I would stay again just for the location.
