This was once one of the best hotels in Stratford, reasonable priced and had fabulous breakfast. Now you don’t get any breakfast, our toilet didn’t flush, no Netflix and seems rundown with large trucks parked all around. It’s clean enough but now not a bargain price - a shame being we’ve been coming there for over 40 years.

Our room was large, but oddly arranged. The television was 90 degrees from both the bed and the couch, so quite uncomfortable to watch. Had the TV been where the couch was, it would have at least been viewable from the big, comfy bed. The carpet was old and very stained. The couch also was stained. The area around the hotel has lots of services, and it is an easy drive to the Stratford Festival theatres.

The rooms were ok, but the air conditioning in one of the 3 we rented for our family was very loud. We had to shut it off to be able to sleep. There was also a very loud drinking party going on one of the nights. We called staff to complain. We would have also liked to have a restaurant. This was closed which was inconvenient.

Location is convenient. Lots of parking. Property is very dated. Lingering body odor smell in our room after it was prepared. Staff entered room to prepare for the next guest prior to us checking out.

It is all about value. As prices soar in Stratford it is great to opt for a spacious and well kept room on a quiet property for under 200 dollars Canadian a short drive from the theatres.

The property was quiet and we slept well. But, the place is looking a little run down and poorly kept in areas. The shower had mould and dirt in the corners. It's a shame they didn't keep the dining area going. Overall, it was expensive for level of accomodation.
