"Pet friendly at £20 per dog per night. Unfortunately don’t allow your dog in the bar, lounge nor restaurant so the charge feels a bit steep.. That aside, lovely staff, location and good breakfast."

"Nice character and quirky but very tired property. Room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a trip back in time and whilst functional, it needs replacing. The main hotel was comfortable and very relaxed and extremely dog friendly, which suited many guests. The food and service was very good."

"The property is well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The host was responsive and helpful. We have a fantastic and relaxing stay on a lovely house and I would definitely book again if I go back to Studland."

"Fabulous location, warm fires, excellently equipped kitchen, comfortable beds...a bit tatty around the edges and could do with some TLC, updated bedding etc but the positives more than compensated for any very slight niggles. We will book it again. "
