Very convenient location, just a short walk from the Main Station. The hotel room is very basic, but it was a very inexpensively priced option. The property is somewhat worn and shabby but my actual room was clean and fine. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they allowed me to store my bags until checkin time as I arrived in the very early morning. I would stay here again.

Good: Good location, right across from Taipei main station and department store. Middle: Room is kinda small Bad: The towels are all disposables. Need to ask for cotton towels. Also, internet is there but barely usable.

Property looks a bit old and dirty. Toilet bowl is very clean, but the shower floor looks a bit dirty. I can see certain corner of the room looks dusty. The floor looks like a tatami but it doesn't feel like a tatami. Its very hard like a wooden floor.

A very good 6-day stay

The room is clean and has a modern touch. Also happy with 24/7 hot water. The location of the hotel is superior: unlimited Taiwan eateries nearby; next to metro and high speed train stations. The easy access of a high speed train station is a must if you are going to visit other cities like Taichung and Kaohsiung in one day.

They forgot to clean my room after the last guest left. There were dirty sheets in the room and leftover food in the room. The shower curtains have dirty brown stains all over it and haven't been changed in ages. The drain is filled with hair so it doesn't drain. Overall just disgusting in the halls too but the staff were nice and it’s in a convenient area.

The hotel is at a prime location. It's very near the main station and Airport MRT which I loved about it. It's also right next to a 24/7 Mcdonald's so it's great when you need a late night snack or can't find anything to eat after a long day. Check-in and check-out process was very smooth. Despite the average room and amenities, what I really appreciated was that they allowed me to check-in two hours early and I got to rest in my room before I went out.

The staff are warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. The room was spotless and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including reliable Wi-Fi and thoughtful amenities. They even provided disposable towels, toast, coffee, tea and a water dispenser. The location is perfect — central yet peaceful — making it easy to explore the city. Plenty of dining options surrounding the hotel. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Can be easily better.

Pros: location, Room 819 faces the front door of shin Kong Mitsubishi dept store. ;next door to McDonald’s; easy walk to metro and busses, food, shopping; offered toiletries and filtered cold water and boiled hot water stations in the common area; staff held our bags before and after checking in and out; there is a lounge to rest. Cons: curtains were full of black moldy spots. I told the front desk. See if mgmt takes care of it if you get this room. There was a no venting in shower so not a surprise this happens. Mold is a serious health hazard though so mgmt please be responsible. It is a very tiny room. Not for people with more than carryon luggage.
