If you’re familiar with holiday inn, it’s the holiday inn of Taiwan. As someone that frequents Taiwan, always go with chain hotel. Otherwise 9/10 times you will find small, moldy, and dirty accommodations. Green world is one of the better chains. You always get more to comparable values out there. Bed and room is usually a little bigger, renovated, AC works well and it’s quiet, bed acceptably comfortable, generally clean, well staffed, and almost always at a good location. You always get more than what you paid in comparison to others with GW. Go for it.

Room was really scuffed up, carpet was gross, mold on the shower curtain, water pressure was good, staff was nice, every floor is a maze - it would take me 5 minutes to find my room, breakfast was not worth the money - I wouldn't stay here again or recommend to anyone who's used to nicer hotels and looking for something budget-friendly.

We booked this solely because of the Gym that was advertised and laundry room, the laundry room was out of order and there is apparently no gym anymore, which we were not informed about Very disappointed

Very pleasantly surprised.

Wasn't to sure what to expect, but very pleasantly surprised. Staff were great and very helpful. The location is superb, 15 mins walk from Taipei main station and right on top of the Ximen MRT station. The room was very large(I had the corner room with huge windows overlooking the street). Breakfast was only okay, but as they catered for a variety of nationalities they still did alright. Food outlets in the surrounding areas that early in the morning are very sparse. So having the breakfast option was a good way of getting something in the morning. I really enjoyed my stay and would certainly go back next time I decide to stay over.

I like the room in this hotel. It has a great window view. Even the restroom has window view so that you can enjoy the scenery while relaxing in the bathtub. However, the bathtub is a bit small.

Great location close to a lively night market and central transportation hub. Room provided (booked through Expedia) bore no similarity to the photos and were oddly designed and quite dated. The adjoining rooms booked were connected via an external hallway with a third door that was occasionally left open during the day. The hotel has many floors throughout a shared building and there seems to be high variability between the floors in terms of property conditions.

Location was very good with proximity to Ximen ding and connectivity via MRT to others. Unfortunately, the gym was under renovation. Having a gym was one of the reasons why I chose this accommodation in the first place ☹️

Although i was upgraded, the bathroom reeks in urine smell. Even after they cleaned up, the smell persisted! The carpets were stained with obvious patches. Hallway was dark due to design and painted wall and facility was old and not well maintained.
