A recently renovated, open concept living area decorated with pops of color and charming artwork greets you in this lovely, serene vacation condo!

The kitchen is fully equipped with all dishes, glass, and cookware with white custom cabinetry and solid surface counters, giving it a lovely modern feel. The breakfast bar provides seating for 2 with additional seating at the smartly designed drop-leaf dinette table.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed with a flatscreen TV and has an updated ensuite bath with a large, step-in shower. Did I forget to mention...OCEAN VIEW!

The guest bedroom has two twin beds, and the beautifully updated guest bath is easily accessible from the hall.

For your convenience, an in-suite laundry center, so no laundromats for this vacation! Also, necessary accessories are provided to enjoy the grounds and facilities.

From sunrise to sunset, you can enjoy the many activities Ocean Pointe has to offer or just relax in your beautiful, newly renovated oceanview condo and surround yourself with our tranquil environment of sixty acres of tropical elegance in the Fabulous Florida Keys! Your vacation begins the moment you drive through our gatehouse entrance into our beautifully landscaped tropical grounds and enter your suite.

Stepping out for the day, you can use our free lighted tennis facilities, swim in our huge, heated pool, and enjoy music and relaxation in a lounge chair or at an umbrella table, get some sun on our private beach, or just take a walk along our private boardwalk and marina.

There is WiFi throughout the resort and in your apartment.

The marina, with a boat ramp capable of handling craft up to 28ft, attracts many boaters to Ocean Pointe.

This is our 2nd stay in our vacation in the Florida Keys this holiday season. It's all good but not the elevator, it's out of service on both the days checked in (12/22) and checked out (12/25), and this is 4th floor unit, so it's not convenient for carrying all the luggage.

Beautiful Property

Beautifully renovated property. Very comfortable and convenient to pool and marina. Have stayed at this resort several times but never on the top (4th) floor. The views of the Ocean from there are truly spectacular. Barefeet Travel does a very nice job managing the property as usual. Will definitely look to stay there again.

Exploring the Keys

Our family stayed for a week in this condo to explore southern Florida and the Keys. It was a perfect location for short day trips! We loved the view, pool, small beach area and tennis courts. Our kids are already asking to come back!!!

Island Tides

We lived our stay at Ocean Pointe, Island Tides Condo. Tastefully decorated, amazing view, and the pool was the perfect temperature. First time I have ever swam multiple days. We hope to be back!

Keys quick getaway

This was a January visit so. everyone just before the snoebirds came in. Complex had 24/7 security at the gate. Great music blaring at the large pool (plenty of Buffett, raegae, beach vibe). Not crowded

Best Unit but Probably Last Time

This is our 4th time staying at Ocean Point. The first owner we rented from had a very nice unit. We booked this place after staying in a cheap unit that was in disrepair and had not been cleaned. This unit was pristine. Appliances were nearly brand new. Kitchen and all amenities were spot on. Sheets were clean and towels provided were sufficient for our stay. The major downside to this resort is they had the bars and restaurant closed and no food truck by pool. We were not informed of this when we booked. If you look at the Ocean Point website it depicts that all of this is open. I love this resort and almost bought here in 2020. However with young kids, we will stay somewhere that has at least a sandwich and pina colada or smoothies available for the nightly price we paid it was not worth having to go out to dinner or leave resort for food.

Lovely Tavernier Condo

The condo is lovely. Everything is there for a great stay. The towels and linens provided were in great condition. There were even a few supplies left behind for us to use. Also a very clean condo. The pool area was nice but could use more umbrellas at the tables, as well as some cleaning in that area. Umbrellas at the beach would be nice too. Overall the condo is 5 stars and Ocean Pointe property is 4.5 stars. We’d definitely go back.

Perfect Keys Place!

We have stayed in many VRBOs in the course of our travels, and Island Tides is one of the best. Clean, well-equipped, so beautifully decorated, and with an amazing ocean view. As Mary Poppins would say, "Practically perfect in every way!" In addition, the Ocean Pointe resort is in a great spot if you want to explore both the south and the north ends of the Keys.

Another great stay

This is our 4th stay at Ocean Pointe, first time in this specific condo. The grounds and pool were clean and well maintained as usual. This condo was our favorite that we’ve stayed in. It was nicely decorated and clean. We loved having the view and balcony access from the master bedroom. This condo is in building 4, which I feel has the best view. The only minor inconvenience was that we had to check in at a different location (the office of the property management company). This is the first time we weren’t just sent the door code on check in day and could arrive straight to the location. It’s not a big deal and would not deter us from using them again, but a bit of an inconvenience when coming in from an 18 hour drive.
