My room was very clean and spacious. I was travelling alone and felt very safe with the security. The staff on check in and out were extremely friendly and helpful. I found the staff at breakfast less so. The only slight issue was I was on the ground floor (which was fine) but there must have been children in the room above and could hear them in the morning running around (thumping on the ceiling for me) and this did wake me. Otherwise, I could not fault my stay, will definitely stay again.

We had a lovely winter break. The food was amazing and very affordable. Everything was spotless. We sat on the leather couches in front of the open fire eating gourmet food without going out of the hotel and enduring the cold. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We will be back for sure.

The Sands Torquay

Excellent place to stay. The views are stunning and not far from Melbourne city and Geelong. Well worth a visit! I have been here 4 times now and love it. The staff are amazing and so helpful. Will visit again. I wish they had a loyalty program with some additional perks.

Stayed in the king golf view room and loved it. All the reception staff were friendly, nice and accommodating. Room and the view was great and the bed was comfy. The surrounding Torquay area is perfect, with many dining options and ocean scenery. Would definitely recommend staying here and I would definitely be back in the near future. Thanks for having us :)

Great property, especially if you like golf. Wish I had stayed another night to enjoy the facilities (pool, tennis and basketball court). The room was large and modern. The bed-super comfy.
