It was an old hotel in need of a major facelift. Our first room had a leaky toilet so the bathroom floor had puddles. They cheerfully let us change rooms though. and maintenance man Manny showed up as we were retrieving our luggage and escorted us to our new room and went through it to see if it needed anything. (It did-2 light bulbs and an extension cord.) He was friendly and helpful, as were the morning breakfast crew the next day. The front desk was helpful as well. It seems the staff was doing everything possible for a hotel well past its prime

Upon walking in to room from beautiful dining area we were overcome with musty old motel smell. Bathroom and floor were even worse, floor sticky from cleaners (?) and smelled like urine. Bathtub was really worn. After a day of traveling to get to a funeral the next day, too tired to ask for a different room.

The property was unkept. Pool was dirty and grounds not nice. Bricks were missing, fountains not working and plants dying.

Property is out dated. The room they put us in first smelled like cigarettes. That did change our room efficiently however. Bedding was stiff and old. Not the most restful night.
