This exquisite hill top estate sits perched on one acre in a gated community. The views take full advantage of the beautiful Sonoran desert, Catalina Mountains and city lights in the evening.

PARKING IS LIMITED to 4 cars. 2 cars in the garage & 2 cars at top of driveway behind the mailbox. Parking is ABSOLUTELY NOT aloud on the street. If you break the rules you will be asked to leave the property.

The property has 4 bedrooms ( 1 king, 1 queen, 1 full, 1 full & 1 twin). The property also has 2 sleeper sofas in the upper family room. There are 3 fireplaces two of which are equipped with gas logs.

The gourmet kitchen is equipped with all stainless steel appliances. The home is a total of 4,450 sq. ft including a cantina and game room, family room, formal living room, laundry room and 4 bathrooms.

There are 5 patios 4 of which are covered with one off the kitchen.

There is a gas BBQ by the pool. The heating of the spa is included in the rental price. There are security cameras located on the exterior of the property.

If you are bringing a pet you must notify us in advance with a description of your pet.

We had a great stay. The views are amazing and the space was comfortable. We were shocked when we arrived the property at the extremely steep driveway. The pictures don't show just how steep it is. Also access to the pool was a little odd and not depicted on the photos.

Caryl our host was wonderful. It took us a couple of days to see how the pool, hot tub exchanged water for we had never seen a set up like that. She was patient with my questions, much appreciated!
One thing that could be noted is that the driveway is amazingly STEEP. Luckily there are two spots at the top to park so it worked well for us. 3 of the 5 are. Afraid of heights.

Excellent stay. Host was responsive when there was a question. The home is clean and family friendly, the property is fabulous. We were a family of 7 and there was something for everyone. Tucson is a clean, safe city and the proximity to the mountains and desert made it even better. A great value for a family.

Not Perfect But Will Gladly Return

I, along with my family and friends very much enjoyed our 3 week stay at The Tucson Hilltop Estate and we have already reserved a 4 week stay for 2026. There are many positives about this unique home. To begin with, the hilltop location and many balconies make for unbelievable views both day and night. We enjoyed many sunrises and sunsets enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The hot tub was very relaxing and the days we had the pool heated it was enjoyable for my family and friends. The kitchen major appliances were first class and it was stocked with all the coffee makers, blenders, cookware and utensils you could possible need. The home is very large and there is ample space regardless of whether you want to spend time together or apart. The beds were fine and there are TVs located throughout the home. With all of the personal items and knick knacks throughout the home you got the feeling you were staying at someone else's home but it was not overwhelming. The furniture is dated but is very functional.There were however, a few items that could have been improved upon. I felt the home was not properly stocked with the necessary basic supplies. There were virtually no garbage bags, dishwashing detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. I don't expect large quantities of these items but a more ample supply would have been nice. A number of the TV remotes required new batteries and I had to provide my own USB ports. (Not enough capacity to finish review.)

House was exactly as it appears. We had some minor issues with gate access that were resolved quickly by property manager. Although it was colder than expected, we did enjoy the hot tub. One of our party was surprised one morning when two javelinas crawled under the fence into the patio area. Her scream sent them running back down the hillside.

Family get together

This home is amazing. We had 2 couples, a single person and their miniature poodle. During the day we went siteseeing then came home where we each had our own spaces. This home had all the amenities we needed.It is centrally located near several sites. I had questions before renting and the owner replied quickly. The price was very reasonable since it was split 3 ways. We hope we can return some day.

Special large home in spectacular location!

This was two grandparents, two parents and four children ages 3-9. The home helped turn our trip into a truly special one, from its location in the foothills with a spectacular view, great pool, lovely tasteful furnishings, and very responsive property manager. We will always remember our stay here!

Great relaxing stay

My sisters and I came for some warm weather relaxing. The location is convenient to nice hiking trail and pickleball courts. The kitchen was very well equipped and a delight to use. The steep driveway was no big deal although we drove in forward and backed out. Management was very responsive and nice. Furniture comfortable but a little cluttered. Would highly recommend.

Fine but could be better.

Could be better. The hot tub is controlled from the host (off site). They only allow you to run it for 4 hours a day. It takes about 2 hrs for the “hot tub” to warm up enough so you can get in it. This is not mentioned anywhere, during the rental process, till a few days before your stay. When asked about it, via text, the host went silent. They provide you with about 1/3 of a roll of toilet paper per restroom. No rolls of paper towels in the kitchen. All beds were very saggy besides for the master suite. Oh yeah and the driveway is ridiculous.

Relaxing Stay and Enchanting Hilltop Views of Tucson

This property has everything you could want and more for a visit to Sabino Canyon and Tucson. Gorgeous location and lots of amenities. The owner is very accommodating and responds promptly to communications. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the spacious rooms and heated spa at sunset each night. Would love to return!

A Christmas week with family!

Stayed for Christmas week with family from NJ, NC, FL & CA. The house felt like home with a large kitchen for holiday cooking & a long dining table for family meals. We baked cookies, made Xmas Eve & Xmas dinners as well as ate in most nights. There was plenty of spices & cookware to use and nearby shopping, Costco and restaurants. The house had many spaces for our family of 9 to spread out as well as being dog friendly so that we could enjoy the holiday with @lab.named.luna The house is clean but filled with many personal items that could be tidied up. Furniture and spaces could use some upkeep and tender loving care. We did enjoy looking at all the lovely items throughout the house and felt it was like a visiting a family's home for the holidays. As noted in other comments, the spa use was somewhat of an inconvenience but the host was very accommodating when figuring out best times and use for us. The gate, Tv remotes, fan and light remotes could also be streamlined with better technology making it less cumbersome for guests. Towels, throw blankets, garbage bags, PT, TP could be better stocked and some newer sheets would be a nice investment for guests. We hiked at Saguaro NP, Mt Lemmon, visited Pima Airspace, gardens, golfed & took long morning walks ... 5 miles of HILLS & a "2 mile trail" alongside cayotes! We enjoyed after-hike librations at Three Canyon and enjoyed the villa's incredible sunrise & sunsets! We would definitely stay again!

Tucson Hilltop Estate

The views were the highlight of our stay. The home is large with so many areas to sit and relax. The kitchen had excellent appliances and we were able to feel comfortable cooking. I did feel that we were staying in someone’s home who is returning soon as there was a lot of personal “stuff”. We would definitely return.

Gorgeous Views Comfortable House

We had a wonderful stay. Owner communication was easy, timely and accommodating. Location is lovely. Views of Catalinas and city. Convenient to shopping, restaurants and hiking. House was clean, nice amenities and full of interest and space. Great family retreat.

Amazing House! Equally Amazing views!

This house was perfect for our recent stay. The custom house is filled with unique furniture and antiques. The house has anything you need for cooking in a spacious kitchen with top end appliances. What sold us on this property was the absolutely amazing views. Perched atop a high hill, this house has a breathtaking panorama of the city below. The sprawling city landscape stretches as far as the eye can see below, with saguaro cacti dotting the horizon, and around the property. There is nothing like enjoying the spa in the evening with the lights of the city below. The house is very relaxing and above the bustle of the city below and private. Owls and doves are heard at night, and it’s very quiet. The owner is super easy to work with and showed kindness for a few requests we made. Easy check in and check out process, loved that also. If you want a unique vacation close to many hiking places with plenty of room for a family or similar get-togethers, look no further!

A month

We had a fantastic month at this wonderful home. It had everything we needed and very well stocked- spices, shampoo, soap, dish soap TP, paper towels. The list goes on and on. But most important was the extremely timely response of the owner. A text and she responded sometimes within minutes. My only small complaint was the TV access. We are older and not very adept at digital. Every room in the house had a flat screen TV with a Fire Stick. We have cable so no access to streaming so we had to sign up for a streaming service to watch live tv. It would have been nice to have that included. I highly recommend this house. It was wonderful for the month

Outstanding Place

Our family stayed at this property during Spring Break. We had a great time. The owner was very attentive and helpful. We most certainly would stay there again in the future. We would highly recommend this property if you are visiting Tucson.

Very Clean, Great views and lots of room to spread out!

We had a great experience staying here. We had two families and my mom with us. There was more than enough spots to spread out and not feel on top of each other. Several secluded decks with great views from outside. Host was very friendly and helpful when we had an issue with hot tub turning off. She was also VERY accommodating when we wanted the times the tub was on switched. The kitchen had everything we needed and Host was only a text away if I couldn’t find something. There was a huge dining room table that we all could eat at as a family. My only “negative” would be there wasn’t a good place to sit inside and see the views. It was pretty chilly the days we were there. It would have been nice to curl up with a cup of coffee and see the views. And What AMAZING views they are!!! I would definitely stay here again. The gated community and cleanliness were wonderful amenities. My kids want me to add that they have fun toys too. I felt like I was a celebrity with how amazing this place was!
