GUEST ACCESS
Guests will have private and exclusive access to the entire home and its amenities. This includes the main house, the fully fenced backyard, the outdoor fire pit, and your own private hot tub. Your stay also includes access to the nearby Twain Harte Lake for swimming and recreation during the summer months.

LAKE ACCESS
- We have an active membership with the Twain Harte Lake which is open Memorial Day to Labor Day. Guests are allowed to use the lake for a fee of $10 per guest per day. If you wish to use the lake we will need guest names and the dates of entry at least 48 hrs before you plan on going to the lake. The information will be given to the main gate.
- We will have beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys for your enjoyment.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Twain Harte is a mountain town at about 3,800 feet, built in the pines just off Highway 108 and named after Mark Twain and Bret Harte. It has kept its village feel, and downtown is roughly a five-minute walk from our door.

IN TOWN

UP HIGHWAY 108
- Dodge Ridge for winter skiing and snowboarding
- Pinecrest Lake for summer swimming, boating, and trails
- Yosemite National Park, reachable as a day trip

DOWN THE HILL
- Sonora, about 10 miles west, for full-size grocery stores, hardware, and medical care

GETTING AROUND
You will want a car. Twain Harte sits just off Highway 108, about 10 miles above Sonora, and everything past downtown is a drive.

PARKING
The driveway fits up to 5 cars. No permit needed.

ON FOOT
Downtown is about a five-minute walk, so coffee and dinner do not mean moving the car.

WINTER DRIVING
Plan for snow and ice. Carry chains and be comfortable installing them, since chain controls do go into effect on Highway 108. Our street is plowed, but storms can still make things slick. Give us a heads up and we can arrange snow blowing for the driveway.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

PET-FRIENDLY
We love furry friends! Your well-behaved dogs are welcome to join you on your mountain getaway (limit 2).

SECURITY
For your safety and the security of the property, there are security cameras located on the exterior of the home. These cameras monitor entry points and do not infringe on guest privacy in any way. There are no cameras inside the home or in private guest areas like the backyard/hot tub.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
We offer a seamless self-check-in process to give you flexibility on arrival. We respect our guests' privacy and will not be present during your stay, but we are always available via the app or by phone should you need any assistance or local recommendations.
