Home on the Ocean on Tybee Island

This lovely oceanfront town home located on Tybee Island's south end features panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and Little Tybee Island. The property was just recently renovated as seen in the pictures. While still maintaining its close proximity to all the islands wonderful eateries, shops and activities it has a feeling of isolation that promotes its tenants to sit back and relax on their vacation. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath home is beautifully decorated and full of all the amenities that you would expect in a top notch rental.

We had a great stay, the home is ideally set for peaceful relaxation and access to the beach. The house is spacious enough for a family and having laundry service while at the beach is always helpful. We did utilize the outdoor water hose to clean off our feet after walks on the beach and it was so convenient! The owners were great and we would stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Tybee Island. Weather didn’t cooperate, but certainly didn’t hinder having a great time with family. House was roomy enough to entertain our son’s military friends. Peaceful!!! Owners were quick to answer all questions. Highly recommend!!! Thanks for the memories

Perfect location on the beach

Wrapped up a lovely weeklong stay at this property and it did not disappoint. From the unobstructed views of the beach and ocean to its secluded yet close to everything location, it really was great. Dee was super responsive to questions and check-in and check-out couldn’t have been easier. Great find!

AMAZING

This property is steps from the beach. Lots of room inside...1 gueen bed and 5 twin beds...and a couch! There are 3 outside decks to sit on and watch the water. The only thing you need to bring beside your swimsuit are beach towels and beach chairs. Owner is super nice and communication is fast. Book this house...its the best one i have ever stayed in with VRBO. OH..by the way...the grocery store on the island is near by and affordable!

Spectacular View

Beautiful view. Comfortable. Made for a great Mother’s Day weekend. Parking was a little confusing and is for small cars only. We had a wonderful time. Proximity to the beach was awesome. Just a short walk and we were there. Be sure to bring your own beach towels.

Love it!

Great experience as usual, hated to leave today after wonderful 12 days there. Always clean, great location and owner, very welcoming and helpful. Killer location, none better on Tybee! We especially love the peace and calm and expanse of the south beach.

Dee was an excellent host. We had arrived a day earlier than expected.Dee was able to accommodate our mishap with no delay. Home is a beautiful duplex with breathtaking views from the patio. I would recommend this stay to anyone.

Awesome view, great location

Property has an awesome view and great location. Would have rated it all 5 stars, but there were 2 issues. The listing says "Home" on the ocean on Tybee Island, but is 1/2 a duplex. There are also 2 sets of narrow, steep stairs.

Perfect beachfront getaway

Property was just as listed. Clean and comfortable. The ocean view and sunrises were perfect. Steps were challenging but doable. Beds were comfortable and we were only steps away from the beach. Dee was extremely responsive and helpful when we had questions upon arrival! Only thing that could make it better is a screen on the master bedroom deck door. Onlascreen on the master bedroomocean!

Great Weekend Stay on Tybee!

Had a quick weekend girls trip- and it was so much fun! You can’t stay anywhere on Tybee closer to the beach than this house- perfect location. On the very end of the island and off the main road. It is just a few blocks from all of the food and shopping- a short lovely walk! The house was very clean, and all of the furnishings were comfortable. Dee is great to work with, and was so accommodating on such a short notice. Thank you for a great stay, we loved our time together and stay on Tybee Island!

On the beach

This beautiful beach house is directly on the beach. Amazing views, clean and absolutely adorable. Would definitely recommend. It can sleep 7 comfortably

Awesome!

What a great place! Even nicer than the pictures. On the beach, 5-star views, clean, clean, clean! Everything we needed was provided. We have seen this property for years and never thought we would actually be able to stay here. Comfortable from top to bottom--bed was great, linens were great, clean, clean bathrooms, kitchen had all we needed, didn't even use stuff we brought with us. So convenient for us--great to walk to lunch every day and dinner many nights. Easy and rapid contact with owners from booking to check-out. Making our next reservations for next year!

Location, location, location!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. The location is perfect and the home is very clean, comfortable, spacious, and quite cozy. The view from the rear decks is outstanding and they are a wonderful place to put your feet up and enjoy the sounds of the ocean. Would definitely recommend the property to anyone looking for a relaxing time away at the beach.
