The view was spectacular! Beautiful birds, fascinating turtles, and gorgeous water. We sat in the rocking chairs watching nature and loving it! Thank you for such a relaxing stay. The home was spotless and perfectly appointed.

Property was just okay. The house was nice, but there were frogs and bugs throughout the house. Needed a better cleaner or a better cleaning company. The pool was absolutely disgusting; we let the host know immediately upon check-in, and nothing was ever done. They basically didn't care and told us it would be done Monday or Tuesday, and nothing ever happened. The beds were okay, not the best, but that was the least bad thing. Communication with anyone or the maintenance was non existant so don't even bother. We tried all day every other day and it was either off the hook or just not answering.

We all loved the property and location. The facility was clean, and everything functioned. The amenities were great, especially the heated pool. TVR was helpful and prompt on the one service call for a clogged drain.

Great place on Tybee

We had 3 generations of us, 11 in all, and this lovely house was perfect for us. Beautiful house, beautifully furnished. Great views of the water and of sunsets, and less than 5 kminute walk to the beach. 5 Bedrooms and a queen in the den worked perfectly for our group. The various games (ping pong, foozball) kept us all busy and the 3 and 5 year olds were fascinated by the (incredibly slow-moving) elevator. We hadn't been to Tybee in a long time and it's very low key (worked well for us; might be slow for others.) The main public beaches in the island drew a crowd but our section of beach, a 5 minute walk away, was virtually ours alone. Overall, we loved it.

Don’t Miss This One!

We’ve been renting vacation homes for almost ten years and Captain’s Cabana is the cleanest, most well appointed home we have ever experienced. Everything was labeled, including the light switches. Very comfortable beds and quality linens. Highly recommended if you’re considering a visit to Tybee Island.

Lovely House With A Beautiful View

The house was immaculate and nicely furnished. The house layout is perfect! The living area is spacious and comfortable. The elevator is nice for moving in and out, and also for some of us with hip issues 😊 Views from inside the house and from the decks are fabulous. There’s a community boardwalk that goes over a turtle pond (fun) and dunes before getting to the beach. Takes 10 or so minutes
.not a problem. We flew kites on the beach as well as visited different island boardwalks each evening. There are some very neat restaurants on Tybee: The Sea Wolf and Sundae Cafe. Also the Breakfast Club and Tybean Coffee. ALL worth going to!!!! I would definitely like to return.

Fun Property

We stayed at Captain's Cabana for a girls' trip and thoroughly enjoyed it! The house is just as advertised - clean, beautiful, well appointed and conveniently located. Communication with the rental company was excellent - they responded very quickly and were always helpful. We walked the two boardwalks to the beach and rented beach chairs/umbrellas at North Beach - worked out great! We also rented two golf carts for one of the days, so we could drive around Tybee and see the Pier, shops, restaurants and bars. The north end of Tybee, where this property is located, is less touristy and very quiet, which we appreciated. Several really good restaurants nearby, or you can drive down to the south end of Tybee for more options. The elevator in the house made it very easy to load in and out, especially with groceries. Beds were comfortable and furnishings were nice. We loved it! Highly recommend!

Captain’s Cabana

Our family group of 10 spent a fantastic week at this beautiful property. Beautiful views and a peaceful surrounding. The condo is lovely, clean and decorated so tastefully. You will feel like you are experiencing lifestyles of the rich & famous. We would book this property again for a family getaway.
