Comfort is key – enjoy split heating and air conditioning (a rare find for lake properties!) to keep you cool in summer and cozy in winter.

Fully equipped with WiFi, Netflix, UV water filtration system, water softener, and bottled water cooler for your convenience.

Direct access to Nickel Lake – a peaceful, small lake perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding, and quiet reflection.

Ample parking on-site for multiple vehicles, including space for boats and trailers.

Large fire pit area with ample firewood supplied from the woodshed – ideal for evening bonfires under the stars.

2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards provided for guest use.

Located just 30 minutes from the USA border at International Falls, MN, and close to Safeway for groceries.

While there is no direct access to Rainy Lake from the property, a nearby boat launch makes it easy to enjoy both lakes.

Nickel Lake is the perfect setting for those who want to unplug, unwind, and immerse themselves in nature. Whether it’s paddling across the still waters at sunrise, roasting marshmallows by the fire, or simply sitting back with a good book and a view, this home offers the space and serenity to recharge.

Guests will have access to the entire home.

We want your vacation rental experience to be memorable and convenient. Keeping a comfortable and clean property is what is most important to us. We will be available anytime via messenger to answer any questions or concerns.
We take the approach of being hands off on the property unless needed - we want you to feel like you have the home all to yourself!

>Quiet time after 10pm (includes loud voices/music) - per city ordinance
>No unauthorized guests other than those on the reservation

PETS
>Not a pet friendly home
>$250 charge if pet found to be brought into home

DEPOSIT
>We may ask for a $250 deposit hold, or $500 for holidays

>$20 service charge added to shipping cost

CREDIT CARD PROCESSING FEES
Note: When making a reservation through our website or when using credit card payment there is a 4-6% credit card processing charge that is paid to Stripe (the credit card processing company). If AT ANY TIME there is a cancellation, the 4-6% charge is not refunded.

DAMAGE PROTECTION
The extra charge listed as “Waivo Insurance” on your reservation covers accidental damage in the home within a certain limit. If something happens or breaks during your stay please let us know immediately so we can file a claim.
Note: This amount only covers a 10 day or less stay. If you are staying longer than 10 days we will request the difference in amount for coverage.
MARRIOTT GUESTS -- You are not charged a Waivo Fee. You will be asked to upload your credit card information to the reservation upon booking, this will act as the card on file (similar to hotels) in case any damages occur during your stay.
