When I saw how inexpensive the place was I was skeptical, but previous reviews made it seem worth the risk. Sorry, DS, but the open pipes/wiring throughout the hotel and ant infestation in the pool-room shower was not worth the great deal, in my opinion. Housekeeping didn’t clean our room or replace towels (not that big of a deal), and there was a beetle in my bed (it happens), but the paper thin walls letting us hear every conversation of our neighbours still awake at 3am was less than stellar when we just needed a place to sleep. A little sketchy, but if you’re in need of a good deal at least it’s cheap!

This place was disgusting. See attached photos on Reddit and they wouldn’t refund my money. Beware. VERY dirty. Didn’t stay. - dog hair everywhere. A dirty sock. A pee stained bed. Just disgusting. DO NOT STAY HERE. FILTHY.

A bit down at heel in places, horribly noisy in-room heating and plumbing and located on a busy intersection but for the price it's a no-brainer, especially if you're using it as a base to ski Silver Star. Bonus pool, sauna and hot tub for less than you'd pay for the cheapest motel, friendly helpful staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, close to some amazing food options (Shah Pakwan for one), shopping of every kind, etc
