The host was available and responsive! The house was beautiful, the care taken in decorating and making the house special was obvious. The arcade was awesome and brought everyone together. The lake was beautiful, would love to come back in the summer!
I really wanted to give this place 5 stars but as you see below I could not. Chris was very responsive when I asked about pins to blow up the floats but at that point it was raining and we only had one day left. He did ask to speak with me via phone after we returned home and I sent him these pictures but after a couple of days of telephone tag we never connected. Internet and TV could be spotty. For the most part the house served our needs. Other than the railing the rest is inconvenient but given the cost of the rental I think it should be raken care of.
Loved our weekend at this home--perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. Chris has thought of everything, and this home was well equipped for coffee drinkers and gamers alike, with all sorts of gear to enjoy the beautiful lake. Loved kayaking and paddle boarding, and enjoyed great meals at the dining table overlooking the lake. Highly recommend!
I could write a book about all of the spectacular attributes of The Lake House. We have pictures and memories to last a lifetime! First and foremost, Chris was one of the best parts of our experience. From the beginning, he answered questions and supported us with any needs we had. Thank you, Chris! We would highly, without a doubt, recommend The Lake House to anyone. Especially lovely for grandparents with their children, grandchildren, grand pup and nephew!
We had a great time at the Lakefront Getaway! We went with 7 kids (toddlers and an infant). The house was a great size, very well thought out, with very thoughtful touches. Exactly what we needed :)
We loved our stay. Chris was very attentive. The home was lovely. You can tell a lot of love and car went into it. We loved all the board games, the game table, the hot tub, the snacks upon arrival and all the other amenities. Would definitely go back and stay again!
The place was very nice and accommodating for my friends and I. We went in the winter and got to enjoy the hot tub only regret I wish it was summer so we can see the beautiful lake!
Fantastic lake home. Plenty of room for all. Chris was a wonderful host and excellent communicator. The home has everything you need for a perfect getaway. The online listing is accurate. If you are on the fence about booking, donât hesitate! Chris, thanks for hosting us in your lovely home!
Beautiful home. We had a group of 8 ranging in age from 18 months to 59 and 1 dog. Each family had a level to sleep on as there are multiple levels. Great large kitchen, family room and downstairs game room. There was something for everyone. Kayak's, paddle board's, a great l beach area for the little's. It was really perfect for a family to all be together and enjoy the Lake. We will definitely consider returning! Thank you to our host everything was wonderful!!
The lake house on Belleau Lake is the perfect spot to spend a high end summer vacation. We had quite a few people (12) of all ages (senior to pre-schooler) and everyone had their own space and plenty of entertainment. From old school video games, foosball and pinball in the downstairs living space to paddling options gallore outside, there was plenty to do. My nine year olds loved the private loft space and adults appreciated the sleeping options in the several bedrooms. Three bathrooms, three floors of living space, outside eating spots, a lake side bar and floating picnic table made this a unique and fun cabin rental. Oh - the propane grill and firepit AND hot tub were also pretty perfect. Weâd highly recommend this rental!
What a fun little winter weekend we had at this home. House is clean and spacious and the added bonus of comfortable beds and furniture! Kitchen is well stocked for your cooking needs! The owner was beyond nice and accommodating and so quick to respond. We would love to come back in the summer so we can take full advantage of what the lake has to offer. Thank you so much for everything !
