Eisenhower Hotel & Conference Center
"Arrived one hour early to find an empty lobby and one counter person who would not permit an early check in. We departed and returned 90 minutes later to find a full lobby with several people in line waiting to check in. Room was clean and comfortable but could use an update as could the hotel in general. Breakfast each morning was good and adequately supplied for all. Sunday mornings stroll to breakfast we discovered a ceiling tile had fallen onto the hallway overnight along with blown insulation above it. Went to lobby to check out Sunday morning only to find no front desk staff and a sign instructing all visitors (hotel rooms appeared fully booked based on persons attending breakfast) no staff was available all day Sunday and any issues were to be reported to the neighboring hotel. All in all our stay was comfortable but obviously there was staffing shortage during the time of our stay. If we would visit the Gettysburg area in the future we would consider staying again."
