The hotel was very nice with the exception of bad lighting especially in the bathroom - we did tell the hotel at check out and were informed that the hotel is beginning renovations in a few weeks. Beds are comfortable - there is traffic noise from street at night so if you aren't used to city life this may be difficult for a light sleeper. Happy hour is a nice perk prior to going out for dinner.

I liked everything about this hotel; the staff, the aesthetics, the amenities, the price. One caveat is that while I very much approve of the fact that there is a minimum of overhead lighting I wish the standing lights were shaded and easier on the eyes . For people who read real books and papers etc. real reading lights would be a vast improvement.

Beautiful hotel, spacious rooms. The staff were amazing especially when my husband needed emergency dental treatment, they went above and beyond to help us. The food at Le Sel was delicious both breakfast and dinner and the nightly wine hour is fab! Would definitely stay again!

This was a beautiful building, filled with mediocre staff. When I arrived at 11 PM, I arrived to a room that had a failed refrigerator. I also didn’t have a working phone in the room with which to call the front desk. The food I traveled with was ruined, and my medicine hit room temperature. Not great. When I brought it to the attention of staff, they offered to let me use their refrigerator, but they did NOT repair the one in my room. I then had a booklet fall behind the air conditioning unit in the room. I asked the front desk staff to send maintenance up to fish it out. They did not. The only trash can in the room was in the bathroom, which is not great for a family of four. I would have liked one in the room itself. The shower was dirty. Here is the thing- the hotel was nice. I liked the bedding, and the big, easy to notice stuff was well done, but the details were lacking, and the staff was glad to say yes to your face, and then not do what they were asked to do. I was billed a $25 a day service fee, and for that price, I would have expected to receive some actual service from the staff.

Our stay was ok. The staff ended up doing the right thing and moved us out of our first room into two adjacent rooms. The first room was strangely equipped. The new rooms we were given were very nice. The hotel was oversold and that put a lot of pressure on the front desk staff ( and for some of them it showed). Lobby floor could use a thorough cleaning.

Lovely hotel. However when we arrived to check in - admittedly later in the evening - we were told the hotel overbooked and we were going to be given a suite with a king bed and sofa bed. We had 2 adults and 2 kids with us. The sofa bed is just not the same as a regular bed - disappointing. Then we had to make the bed after waiting for our sheets to be delivered approx 10 minutes later. The room was unbelievably LOUD - cars, sirens, all night long. Twice we checked if one of the windows was open bc it was so loud. On the plus side, the person who checked us in comped us breakfast which was nice. Overall a nice hotel - but I would be cautious about staying again bc we got almost no sleep due to the noise.
