Waterfront home on the lake shore of Beautiful Lake Memphremagog, Newport, VT.

A nice waterfront three bedroom home in a peaceful neighborhood located on a quiet Lane on the western shores in Newport VT. Great lake views whether your sitting at the dining room table, on the deck or lounging out on the lawn. There are two bedrooms with queen size beds and one with a full size bed. The kitchen is fully furnished along with dishes and utensils. Linens and towels are furnished and a washer and dryer are there for your use. The living room offers a TV and WiFi is also included. A propane grill is located just off the patio for your grilling pleasures. You are only minutes away from restaurants, shopping, bike path, cinema, city dock and marina yet it feels like you are away from it all. Jay Peak is only a half hour away where you can enjoy a large indoor water park and possibly a Tram ride to the top where you can view the sweeping vistas.
The lake is accessible via stairs and/ or a foot path whichever you prefer and lends itself to boating, fishing and swimming. A ladder on the dock is available for those that choose to swim and water shoes are recommended.

Excellent stay! The location is incredibly peaceful and the house very comfortable. We’ve never seen a rental with such a well-stocked kitchen/dining equipment situation. There’s at least one of everything you could possibly need, and probably 3. The weather didn’t really cooperate for us, so we didn’t get to take advantage of the dock, swimming, etc. but thoroughly enjoyed the deck and fire pit. Due simply to the layout of the house, there’s not really a comfortable way to be indoors and enjoying the view, so we were glad it didn’t rain much. We enjoyed meeting Dennis, he was very helpful, and we would happily stay again!

The cottage was so nice on a beautiful, peaceful piece of property on Lake Memphremagog! Bring an extra fan if you get hot at night for the bedroom but other than that the cottage has all you’ll need for your stay. Dennis and his wife were so sweet and checked in during the week to see if we needed anything. It was a great week of peaceful reading by the lake and fun swimming and floating.

We just spent a week at this peaceful lake house We had a great week checking out this charming little town and surrounding. The kids loved the tram ride up Jay Peak, fishing and swimming in the lake. If you plan on swimming in the lake outside the cabin bring water shoes. The lake house was super clean and comfortable and stocked with everything you may need to cook. Great week!

Absolutely charming lake home

We had a lovely stay in the lake house. The owners attention to detail was evident in the amenities, cleanliness and provisions inside and outside. Lake view was amazing. Location was quiet and peaceful. Owners were available and responsive to questions. Would definitely book this lake house again!

A very comfortable three bedroom house. Patio with barbecue grill was well used. Bedrooms were a nice size as was the living room. Kitchen had everything for cooking each night. Again, a very comfortable house.

Fantastic and peaceful stay

We had a magnificent week in Vermont. The house is as advertised, clean, nothing is missing, the location by the lake is perfect and the owners are super friendly/helpful. The price is reasonable as well. We recommend it and would definitely come back.

Lake Memphremagog Getaway

Very clean, hosts live next door, share a dock with them. Very friendly. We went right after the flood of 2023, so water was murky. I love to swim, but was afraid the water might be contaminated? Great Wi-Fi, TV, space, very quiet spot. Drove one night over to the East Side Restaurant and had an awesome dinner, with wonderful drinks. On and off raining during the week, but okay

Sweet Place to Stay

This property was super clean and the lake view was unbeatable. I went with a friend for a few days to get some R and R and we got just that. The beds were comfortable and the everything was as described. Dennis was super easy to communicate with. Newport surprised us with more restaurants than we thought. You have to visit the Brown Cow for breakfast. All in all things were great!

Amazing stay at the lake house

The lake house is in a quiet neighborhood with a fantastic view of the lake. It is only 5 minutes away from the Newport city centre hence you are not far away from the restaurants and bike and kayak rentals. The lake house is small but well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils. Overall, a great stay.
