Wonderful West Glacier Basecamp Property
Summary: West Glacier Basecamp has a well stocked kitchen - amenities of home, full sized fridge, electric range, microwave, dishwasher, propane grill, a variety of essential gadgets and small appliances, and pantry space. Gather around the large table in the kitchen or head to the furnished deck. Two main floor bedroom each with a queen bed and two downstairs bedroom each with two twin beds and a pack n play is also provided for your use.
The Space: This home is a cherished family retreat and among one of the few original historic West Glacier structures. It was lovingly restored by long time Montana residents over 20 years ago and now it is available for you to call your home while visiting and enjoying all that Montana has to offer from this great location and unbeatable access to Glacier National Park!
Guest Access: Guests have access to the whole house, except for the owner's lock off closet downstairs and the detached garage.
The Neighborhood: The village of West Glacier is a fun gathering place for the whole family. There are restaurants, general amenities, and a small catch all shop to grab any last min groceries that you may have forgotten.
Getting Around: You will need your own vehicle to get around in Montana. West Glacier is located at the west entrance to Glacier Park. It is approx 30-40 min from the nearest Airport, 20 min to groceries.
Other Things to Note: OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: The summer season of 2021 introduced a brand new system of ticketed entry into Glacier National Park and a pilot system in the 2022 season was operational. This Summer 2023, advanced reservation is still required (between the hours of 6 a.m. - 3 p.m.) and it can be competitive to secure ticketing. Each guest is responsible to understand and navigate the new system.
