Very nice property in a convenient location. Beds were comfortable, unfortunately the fireplace was not working. Overall, the entire group enjoyed their get away and look forward to a redo next fall.

Grand Traverse Condos

Love the convenient Acme area and Grand Traverse Resort property - plenty to do in Acme, Elk Rapids, Traverse, Mission Peninsula, etc. It was relaxing to sit on the balcony and watch golfers putting on the green-and the wildlife that came through this wooded area. We try to come to the area a couple times a year and have stayed at the resort as well as other condos.

Last minute getaway

The condo was clean, the kings beds were comfortable, there was coffee, paper towels, creamer and even a bottle of sparking wine. Christian was extremely helpful during the booking process and he was on vacation and still managed to help me with my booking along with connecting me to Kaitlin for anything we might need during our stay, we stayed 2 nights and look forward to booking with True North again. The door code was not included in the email or message instructions & could not get a hold of someone for about 30 minutes. Could not use the patio due to it being unsafe. I would have liked to be made aware if this before I booked & confirmed. There was a fireplace but no instructions on if it worked or not. For the price I paid expected more. Seems like a very old building but condo was clean & location was perfect.

Swindled

The patio, which should’ve been the highlight of the condo, was rotted & warped so bad that the sliding glass doors leading out to it were bolted shut to prevent anyone from going out there. This wasn’t mentioned at all in the listing. In the bedroom, I couldn’t use the closet to hang up my clothes; it’s was somehow rigged to prevent the door from being opened. The building smelled. For a place associated with Grand Traverse resort, it was disappointing and massively overpriced.

The beds in this unit were extremely comfortable — but the unit itself was just average. The checkin instructions told us to open a lock box to obtain a key, yet the lock on the unit door used a code (no need for us to obtain a key). The kitchen pans were in pretty rough shape and there was no shampoo in the main level bathroom but the upstairs bathroom was fully stocked. The dryer had a pair of leftover sheets from the previous renter/maid.The most frustrating thing was that the patio was not accessible due to it being unsafe. Well we appreciate the hand written note informing us of the unsafe deck — it was quite worn and appeared to have been in place for quite some time. However, we were informed about the deck issue until we arrived. In fact, we had to have a maintenance visit because there was a kitchen shelf missing a clip and the master bedroom closet was stuck in the closed position. He was able to resolve both issues but in the process, he told us that has been an issue for over a year — yet we were never told about the problem and should be compensated in some way.

Quick weekend get away

This condo was absolutely stunning. It was very clean throughout and the bedrooms had so much room! The location is also close to everything that you would want to do, eating, golf, running to the store, etc. We would definitely rent this location again!

Great!

Very nice place, clean and comfortable. Finding the lockbox in the dock was a little difficult, no light in the parking lot. Otherwise very nice.

Pleasant condo

Nice, clean condo in a good location. There are a couple maintenance issues that still have not been addressed on main level. The bedroom closet door could not be opened at all so had to hang clothes in living room closet; inconvenient. Main level shower head shoots water onto floor, could not adjust.

Won’t be staying here again

Location was good…Condo needed a lot of work…Here is a list: Master Bedroom closet does not open (Carpet to high), Dresser in master bedroom leaning so far forward we didn’t put our clothes in it for fear it would topple…No closet, no dresser. The sliding door in the living room does not lock. Many electrical outlets did not work. Porch lights on balcony did not work. Smoke detector is off of the wall upstairs. Upstairs bathroom shower head was disgusting! Main floor bathtub leaks The couch was disgusting and needs to be cleaned or replaced. Check out information was finally sent to us at 10am on DAY of checkout. These are just the issues we singled out. I would not stay here until all of these items were addressed.
