Weekend stay - Decent place, not that clean, poor service

Disappointed in the cleanliness and Christian the property manager never responded or answered questions. Even after check out I still never heard from him. Just noticed a week later my deposit was not refunded. Reached out again and still nothing. Do not recommmend!

Not Ready For Guests

The unit was not thoroughly clean. There was visible dust on the furniture, crumbs on the couch, cobwebs and dead bugs over the front entry. The counters, sinks, linens, and toilet all appeared clean but the visible dirt made us question everything. The management company promptly found another unit for us to use during our stay.

The location was the perfect spot to call home as we ventured out on daily trips to Sutton's Bay, Charlevoix, Petoskey and the UP. But we didn't have to travel more than a few steps to the beach each evening to enjoy the beautiful sunsets on Grand Traverse Bay.

By far the worse rental experience

Took vacation day to arrive early. Paid for early check in (2pm)Arrived at dirty condo. Called property manager. He said cleaning crew is on the way. 4 o’clock no one arrived. No call or anything. Note: Had pregnant wife and two kids just sitting in car for hours just waiting. Ended up checking in at 6 pm. Missed even dinner. Next day apartment upstairs had our clothes ruined due to ash and cigarette burns which were drying on the patio. Oh
 and property manager offered me “Partial cleaning fee removed” due to all the check in issue. Just unbelievably by far the worst experience

Lovely stay

Stayed here from June 19-23 2020. Property was smaller than expected, but had everything we needed. Very comfortable. Owner very responsive to all inquiries in an incredibly timely fashion. We left the property clean, but have yet to receive our deposit back. (4 days later). Not a bad drive to TC, and beach was nice. Pool and beach club closed (no fault to property owner- Pandemic and all). I imagine that if all activities were going on it would have been a much livelier atmosphere. There’s a fire pit on the beach, as well.

Great location! Owner very attentive to any problems.

The Lake, beach, and pool access right across the footbridge was great! This unit has a private little patio out the sliding doors, unlike many of the other units that share a patio with your neighbor. Unfortunately, we found the AC was not working correctly. However, the owner went above and beyond our expectations. He was easy to contact and he even brought over a fan to help make us more comfortable. The very next day he had someone out and the AC was repaired. We we very happy with his timely response to our problem with the unit. Only two things that could make our stay better: The refrigerator is super tiny and had a non functional / frozen solid ice maker. Also, there is no way to dry wet beach towels and swim suits. Would be nice if there was a coin operated dryer in the complex we could use. Other than that the place is great and the owner is fantastic.

Check in went smoothly, had slight issue with the door code which the condo manager fixed immediately over the phone. Had a great trip.

Great, quiet location. Affordable and close to the city.

It was a really nice room. Had wonderful access to a little beach. Only a 5 minutes drive into Traverse City. The owner was easy to contact. We did have an issue with the cleanliness. Previous guests were not very courteous and the maid didn’t get all of their mess removed. Other than that, it was a fun place to stay! Better than a hotel room!

Great spot for a fun Traverse City getaway!

A small but clean unit on the first floor. Has everything you need for a relaxing trip in Traverse City. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and dishwasher. A very short walk away is the pool and beach. We enjoyed a late night glass of wine by the fire pit with some live music! The only drawback is that the resort is a little further away from downtown TC then other options, but the pool and beach made it all worth it for us. Great spot!

Great location, lacking some basics

We enjoyed our stay and had a pleasant time. Some basic items were missed. There are 5 light bulbs in the bath, 3 were non-functioning. Stayed 3 nights but we were only given 3 washcloths for the two of us. I know that these are petty items but just a little attention to the details would give a much better perception. The bed was very comfortable which was the key item.

Two years in a row, and this location did not disappoint. The condo isn't the biggest, yet it worked just fine for our family. Can't beat the location and the amenities on the property.
