River view rooms are great. Great view of Detroit and the river. It was a bit loud and signs were posted that quiet hours are 10pm-7am. Must be an on going issue

Took forever to check in at 4pm. Long line ups at front desk. Appeared the hotel was booked solid with youngsters ready to party. Then elevators were down after checking in. Didn't get the room we had booked. First world problems really. Over all the room was quiet and comfortable despite not being what we had reserved and paid for earlier.

Overall our stay was good. Our room and the property were clean and great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. However, we arrived just after 3 pm and check in was very slow due to the arrival of a large group. Recommend implementing an express online check in with a separate check in counter to pick up room keys. We did not have breakfast but we gave that category a poor rating as there was no free coffee service in the morning for guests. I had to pay $8.50 to get 2 coffees to go from the restaurant.
