Great experience

Hotel was great, staff friendly, view was beautiful, beds are comfortable. The room wasn’t clean 100% nothing crazy and I understand they have a lot of rooms to clean in the time frame they get. Just notice there was a beer bottle lid was left on the bathroom floor under the sink and the bathroom ceil had what looked like a drink that exploded on the ceiling. I think it’s just something that was over looked. I definitely would still at this hotel again. You can tell it’s an older hotel but still great place to stay for couples or family.

The back door (sliding) was left open (and unlocked) during our entire time there. Very unsafe, especially in that area of town. In our room, we discovered what appeared to be a clean and ready ice bucket. Upon opening the bucket the bag was wet and liquid accumulated in bottom. Smelled of vomit or some other gross substance. Front desk delivered 2 clean plastic bags but bucket unusable.

This hotel is highly overrated and does not offer value for the price charged. Parking costs an additional $19 per day and is located off-site in a public lot, which is both inconvenient and expensive. There are no complimentary water bottles provided, requiring guests to purchase their own. It's puzzling that a coffee machine and pods are supplied, yet no water is available to use with them. The bed sheets looked worn and somewhat dirty, and they weren’t properly tucked in. Despite being advertised as a water-view room, the view was minimal—mostly obscured, with airport lights visible from the bed rather than any meaningful water scenery. Breakfast is not included and comes with an extra charge. The television lacks streaming services such as Netflix and offers very few channels. Overall, the hotel feels outdated, and there are better options in Windsor that provide more amenities, better service, and more reasonable prices. While its riverside downtown location is a plus, it alone doesn't justify the high cost. Improvements in service or a reduction in price are definitely needed.

Things I love: -friendly check-in staff -I haven't stayed in every room, but whether you're looking at the river or the city you get a neat view -quiet but comfortable/effective hvac -quiet room -comfortable bed -clean linens, great pillows (4 + extras in closet) -great water pressure Things I didn't like: - no free breakfast Things I noticed: - TV doesn't have a guide channel (but I grew up in the 20th century and can just surf channels) -I think there's a restaurant in the hotel but my map app says it belongs to the hotel next door (??). - no fan in the bathroom -the closet door next to the room entrance is a full length mirror so I thought someone was already in the room and nearly screamed
