Great location but very limited food options given the grill closes early so you’re left with the inn for dinner with no reservations until at least 9pm so book before you go. Inn has ok food. Limited seating due to low staff but that’s based on current us administration. No info ahead of time that you need to go to the reservations building to check in , which doesn’t have a sign for ‘check in’ so must stop there first. No service but you’ll find this is one park where you won’t get service anywhere so know route before you go.

It was clean and quiet. Very nice for an older establishment. Lots of parks are more outdated. This has had some updates.

Service at the Lake house for breakfast was absolutely appalling. Was going to have the full buffet which it said on the menu all you can eat😂 Coffee cold ,offered no orange juice ,no bacon,in fact nothing. Kept telling staff there was no bacon, french toast,or any other food in the food containers . Staff just walked around aimlessly. One member of staff disappeared into the kitchen because we kept asking when are we getting any food. Finally after 30 mins of waiting we walked out hungry😡

Would be great for a 1 night stay coming up from Tetons. Beds were very uncomfortable. When we checked in we were told there were 3 options for dinner. Dining room needed reservations, lakehouse and the grill. So we went to the lakehouse which only served tacos. The next night we were going to pick up some burgers at the grill that we were told was open til 7. Well that was the night before. Today they closed at 5. Sept 8th. So we had no options for dinner except tacos again. Would definitely stay farther north at some of the other villages. Windows were thin. Thought someone was outside talking, the people upstairs had their windows open. Thought with no tv or WiFi it would be peaceful. It was not. Just ok

Late season I suppose. Short of waiters in the restaurant. Those working were quite good. Signage to the restaurant was inadequate. Jackson Lake Lodge was an entirely different experience. Keep driving south!

We liked the nature setting. Wildlife wondering about the property was a treat. Easy parking and access to the rooms. Friendly and polite staff. Its a good starting point to travel through Yellowstone. But, its really not a true lodge. Individual buildings with hotel style hallways with rooms. No actual lodge area to enjoy. Rooms and bathrooms are very small. We found local dining subpar and crowded. Would not spend the money to stay again. Recommend upgrading to one of the other properties in the park.

It's expensive for what they offer... $350 a night and the wifi didn't work, not even in the lobby. Cell reception was non existent so having wifi was more a need than a luxury, we needed to communicate with family and also plan our hikes for the next day. The rooms were OK, like any average room you'll find at a 2 or 3 star hotel.

Front desk staff was not friendly and no one told us about needing reservations at the main dining. Could not get in to dine and they would not do a take out order. Grant Village was convenient for our kayak tour on the lake with Shurr Adventures, which was fantastic and lunch at the general store after kayaking was great before heading out.

Terrible stay

Staff was very unfriendly, reception gave no information. We had no idea we had to request the rooms to be cleaned. Shower terrible- no pressure and leaked onto the floor no matter how we tried to close curtain. Main restaurant service awful and food overpriced and mediocre. Go to lake restaurant for tacos rather. Laundry room the only redeeming feature. Efficient, clean and friendly. And what’s with these miniature pillows? We expected WiFi in our rooms but none available!! In 2025??!! Then the price! So overpriced for the poor quality, service and facilities we hot. We noticed non of the staff were smiling. They must be embarrassed to be working there.

Awful, appalling, very poor- would not recommend

Service was appalling! Our room was not cleaned and when we complained we were told we did not request it- were not told. Restaurant service was terrible, food expensive and awful. Xanterra needs their concession cancelled. There was no WiFi and lodge was mediocre and overpriced. Restaurants and stores closed early even though we were told they would be open till 7. Overall we and our party and everyone we spoke to thought Grant Village was overpriced and awful. In contrast the places at Grand Teton were outstanding!
