Gorsedd Stones in Ystradgynlais. Located in Gorsedd Park. The Ystradgynlais History website states that the Gorsedd Stones were erected for the National Eisteddfod of Wales held in Ystradgynlais in 1954. Although the main festival was held on the rugby club fields, the Druid ceremonies which form the essential core of the tradition were held here.

Entrance path to St Cynog's Church, Ystradgynlais The church is set back 100 metres from the south side of the B4599 Heol Eglwys. St Cynog's Church is in the Church in Wales Diocese of Swansea and Brecon. The church was built in the Victorian Gothic style between 1858 and 1861. Born c434AD, Cynog son of Brychan, usually known as Saint Cynog, was a fifth century British martyr and saint.
