Perfect Pocono Getaway: Spacious Stay for the whole family!

House worked out perfectly for our family’s short stay! Family of 7, 6 adults and 1 child- Had plenty of room for all of us (plus several more if wanted) and indoor entertainment. Would definitely stay again!

This house was perfect for our bachelor weekend. The house was a lot bigger than we expected and was very nice. We enjoyed the game room, playing pool, the arcade games and poker. The house was in a great location with a short drive to skirmish paintball and then casino! Easy communication and check-in instructions from the host also helped a lot.

Perfect family getaway!

The house was clean and well stocked. We loved the game room but felt the property could use some TLC. The sofa was hard with wood under the cushions and the area rug in the living room was a tripping hazard. Other than this the house was great land we had an awesome stay.

Family Fun

We had a great family vacation. Plenty of space for the kids to spread out and the adults, too! We also went to Camelback Waterpark for the day which was about a 25 minute drive, easy peasy. The supermarket to go to is Ahart's Market in Blakeslee, PA. There's a supermarket, liquor and discount store in the same strip mall. Also, try to swing by Harmony Beverage, they have beer, candy and awesome Adult style slushies!

Spur of the Moment Mountain Get-A-Way

This property is everything and more! It's better than pictured. There was so much space we called 2 family members to join us. The Tweens did not complain about being bored, imagine that. The lake was just a short drive and it was peaceful and easy to keep an eye on the toddlers. I will keep it in mind for the next trip to the lake.

My family and I stayed here during the summer, and we were very happy with the house, the management and the location. The house was fantastic with everything you could want. There was an amazing game room with a pool table, foosball table and two arcade style machines. The patio/deck had a grill that we used nearly everyday! The house is located in a community with a members recreation center that has a pool, beach and tennis courts! All in all, this was a fantastic place to stay.

Very cute spot in the Poconos. The rooms were very nice. The game room was a hit with our group. The grill on the porch was not safe to use. It should have been cleaned more regularly, it caught fire when we turned it on to heat up the grill. I sent a message through the app with no response. Overall a great trip!

Absolutely perfect

This house was awesome. The owners thought of everything. Lives that we didn’t have to pack towels or bedding . They had charging strips everywhere for your phones . Games and books. The house fit 15 of us perfectly. We loved the deck and game/ bar area. The master bedroom was huge. The upstairs was perfect for all the kids. The house layout was great. We spent a day at Hickory Run state park and Kalahari. Will absolutely be back. Highly recommend!!

Great location, house needs a bit of TLC. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Pros:Great location to visit Jim Thorpe, hiking and wineries. Layout of house was nice with 3 floors to spread out. Loved the fireplace. Lighting was adequate. Pac-Man a plus. Also loved deck space.enjoyed watching the deer. Cons: house was dusty, windows dirty. Downstairs bathroom had no heat, too cold to use. None of the toilet seats fit properly. Master shower, faucet control loose and paint peeling off of wall. Couldn’t use towel bar, would fall on floor.Door was easy to unlock, hard to relock. Bed in one of downstairs bedrooms teetered if you sat on bottom. Okay if you were in middle. Air fresheners too strong upon arrival, we had to unplug them and put in a closet.

Good place but needs some TLC

Loved the location and the set up. House was clean and well appointed. Price was great, so I expected some issues. House needs some TLC: -Main sofa was beat up. Wood used under seat cushions. Holes in upholstery. -Rugs in decent shape, not great. Some LVP would go a long way. - rampage arcade game didn’t work - downstairs beds were not comfortable -bunk beads had wood holding up the mattress Seems like a bunch on issues but the house was clean and bathrooms were spotless. For the price, I’d stay here again but a small investment in the property could force an increase in asking price.

Quick Family Getaway

While our check-in was delayed a couple of hours due to an issue with previous renters, the property owner was in constant contact with us and very apologetic. They even had pizzas and wings delivered upon our arrival. They also provided the option for a later check-out. We loved the house for our family’s quick getaway and feel the owners went above and beyond to compensate for the unexpected delay at check-in.

Great house for big group with kids!

This house was great! It as even better in person than it looked in the pictures. It was VERY clean. The house included all of the bed linens, towels, necessities (toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning products) etc. There were plenty of warm blankets, the bedding was fresh and clean, the pillows and mattresses were very comfortable too. Each bed had a welcome basket with fresh towels and soap! The game room was a BIG hit with our group of kids (ages 11 & 12)- they loved playing pool and foosball. One of the arcade machines would not power on, but there were 2, so it was fine. The entry level included 2 comfortable queen bedrooms, theater room, bathroom, game room w/ dry bar/TV and arcades. The 2nd level had a VERY spacious open living room/kitchen dining area with a nice deck, and another queen bedroom, bathroom and primary suite with a huge private bathroom. The 3rd loft level was HUGE, with 4 bunk beds, a futon and a little alcove with comfy chairs and fairy lights. The kids all stayed in the loft area and were VERY comfortable and had a blast! The adults stayed on the 2nd level and slept peacefully once the kiddos fell asleep (the Loft is over the primary suite, so there was some noise from above- but it was to be expected with tweens all bunking together for a fun night!). There was another slight glitch (other than one of the arcade machines not working)- the Remote Controls for the TV in the main room (2nd fl) did not work the Television. I reached out via text to the management company to troubleshoot, after 2 hours, it was suggested to download an "LG Remote Control" app on my phone, and that worked- however, it was slightly annoying to have to deal with ads when trying to change channels, control volume, etc. The kids planned a Movie Marathon and one of the reasons I chose this home was because of the game room and giant sectional for them all to gather and watch together- so thankfully after 2 hours of trying to get it to work, there was a solution. I would definitely rent this home again! I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in this area. Because we stayed in early December- we were not able to take advantage of the lake, tennis courts, playground, etc. but we drove around the community and it looked lovely. So if you're thinking about renting this home- DON'T HESITATE- it was a really fantastic house! Perfect layout for a big family or multiple families to gather and enjoy the Poconos!
