Thank you for considering My Vacation Property Rental (MVP Rental) for your upcoming trip to the Poconos. I have owned and been hosting people at homes in this resort community since 2011. Over the years, across multiple properties, I have managed thousands of reservations and have gained the expertise to offer a relaxing retreat for both your group, and pets.

This was my third property, purchased almost 10 years ago. I’ve spent several Christmases at this home. With it's warm and cozy feel, it's just a great classic Pocono cabin. If you are a pet lover, this is the place to be. I cannot tell you how many people have commented on the convenience of being able to let their dogs off leash during their stay. I’ve had guests return specifically for the fenced in yard, and because of this, I have added fencing to my other properties. The second-floor deck, off the master, is a great spot to watch your dog as well as the stars, or to enjoy a cup of coffee. Many deer visit the yard, as do the occasional flock of turkey.

The home is warmly decorated, keeping families in mind. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware. The home has air conditioning, a gas fireplace, high speed Wi-Fi, outdoor seating area with grill, and second floor den with TV. All homes are smoke-free, and pet friendly provided appropriate pet fee has been paid.

Home summary: 2 story cabin with fully fenced back yard located in one of the most popular lake communities in the Poconos, Towamensing Trails. Community amenities are included with your rental fee.

Towamensing Trails Property Owners Association: a highly amenitized community located in the heart of the Poconos.

--Starting May 23, 2025 - Amenities will be open on weekends only
--Starting June 13, 2025, to September 2, 2025 - Amenities will be open full time
Hours of operation for the pool: 11 AM to 6 PM (Schedule may change without prior notice)
--On Sept 1, 2025 - pool will be closed for the season. The lake can still be accessed for boating and kayaking. Beach is swim at own risk.

My sisters and I wanted to surprise or parents with a special Christmas this year with us all being separated the past few years. Our stay here allowed us to have the meaningful holiday we were hoping for. With a large fenced in yard I was able to bring my dog which meant everyone was able to be part of the celebrations. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and essentials allowing us to cook and bake throughout our stay. The place was clean and well kept and is nearby so many cute areas. It truly felt like a hallmark week. With our family starting new traditions we are hoping to make this a staple location for our future holidays.

I don’t even know where to start! From the Charmin toilet paper to having breakfast with the deer every morning! It was absolutely amazing cabin. I booked this trip last minute for my family of three. We have a four year old daughter, who absolutely adores the wilderness. We live in the busy city so this was paradise for us Especially around the holidays. This cabin was just perfect and cozy just what I wanted . This property was great to bring you fur family. The yard is completely fenced so our dogs were able to stretch their legs and get plenty of exercise. Our host was great. When we had an issue with the faucet in one bath, he came over right away. It turned out there was no problem and we were not using it correctly. Small issue with gate on the deck not latching but i bought a simple hook and eye and solved the problem. Set in a nice quiet residential area. We enjoyed using the pickleball courts at the clubhouse.

My wife and I stayed here with our dog, and we all had a wonderful time. The house was very nice and very clean. It had all the amenities and kitchenware we needed. Our dog loved running around in the fenced in yard and seeing all the deer that visited daily. The owner was very kind, and provided us with all the info we needed prior to and during our stay. The location was great as well. There was a lake/beach and pool just minutes away. There are plenty of parks and restaurants closeby, and there were a few places to get groceries. The back porch and balcony were very relaxing. We would definitely recommend it.

Perfect Pocono Getaway!

This home and location were just perfect for our family. It's cozy and quiet. I wish that it was warmer to enjoy some more of the community amenities. It was rather cold at night, so we enjoyed snuggling on the couch by the fire and playing games. It's the best night's sleep any of us have had in a long time. The beds are very comfy. Everything was clean and the home is well maintained. Even my dog absolutely loved the yard and felt right at home. We're already planning another return trip!

Amazing pet-friendly cabin! Great winter escape!

We brought our 80 lb rescue Sadie to this lovely little cabin mostly because it had a very big fenced in yard and we live in an apartment. Sadie also loves snow and the cold weather. This was a great escape for all of us. It snowed and she spent hours (with breaks inside!) staying out in the yard and watching the deer, cats and more! It was such a joy to watch her enjoy. We also had fun - resting by the fireplace, reading and napping. We were able to order in a few times and we cooked as well. We spent an afternoon taking the train ride with Sadie (dogs allowed!) in the town of Jim Thorpe. And had a great lunch (also with Sadie!) at a cute restaurant. The town is charming. All in all a great 4 day escape for us. The house had basically everything you need and Will was very accommodating! We will be back!

Birthday snowboarding getaway

We decided to do a last-minute trip for my son’s 19th birthday. He had been talking snowboarding, so when I saw this listing near JackFrost/BigBoulder it looked perfect. The owner, Will, was very nice & answered all my questions before I made the booking. It was just perfect for our weekend. Very cozy with the gas fireplace. It snowed on Sunday which made it even better. Perfectly located only 15min from Big Boulder where my son ended up getting a personal snowboarding lesson because he was a little more advanced than the rest of the class, and just under 30min from Jim Thorpe where my daughter & I visited on Saturday. Thank you for the great stay!!

Perfrct break from reality!

Just perfect - just as the listing states. The yard was great for our dog and we spent hours on the couch with the cosy fire! Really quiet - neighbors near by but i only saw one person while on a walk and he was very friendly! 100% would come back in summer to enjoy the great beach, pool etc!
