Lovely well equipped villa, close to old town. Ideal for families with young children. Host Celia was very helpful Rand answered questions quickly. Would recommend a stay here
Lovely villa and pool. Extensive grounds. Plenty of room for 5 adults and child. Grandson loved the pool! Slightly remote but approx 10/15 minute walk into town. Beautiful Old Town with plenty of cafes/restaurants. We didn't hire car but this was not a problem. Easy access to taxis. Good communication with Celia.
We had a great time!
Had a lovely stay, everything we needed was in the villa. Celia was really quick to respond to any queries & resolved any problems straight away.
We were 2 families & there was plenty of room. Great villa & pool. Lots of ground around to chill.
Spacious house with nice pool and big garden and terraces.
Walking distance to Alcudia old town, 10 minutes to Alcudia Beach and Port of Pollença.
Slow internet and missing some kitchen items.
Overall a great place for families.
Villa was in a peaceful location on the outskirts of Alcudia (easy walking distance). The outside of the area of the villa including the pool was excellent. The availability of air-con was fantastic during our stay. The villa was very spacious. The only reason for not 5 stars is the lack of some basics in the kitchen. Overall we had a lovely time at the villa during our stay.
House was great lots of outdoor space to spread out. Short walk to old town with plenty of restaurants and shops. Short drive to port and Alcudia beach. Restaurant reconciliations weâre spot on. Celia was very really and helpful throughout the trip. MHighly recommend
Beautiful villa with lovely quiet surrounding and gardens, lovely pool, just in need of a few bits missing in the kitchen if you want to be picky but overall lovely villa with short walk into old town Alcudia and would stay again.
Very nice finca with a wonderful view, quiet but central
This is a very awesome place to stay. The pool was safe for children, very clean. Celia was always available for us. If we had some urgent matters or questions Tage was available and she send us the gardener or they cleaned the pool immediately. It has an awesome and very well prepared garden. For our little toddlers they offered chairs and beds for free. The air condition was new/clean and refreshing in hot summer nights. It is very close to beautiful Alcudia city, and in a 5-7 minute drive,
You will see the ocean from a wonderful beach . We had a really great time. Thanks
Close to Alcudia, quiet, great garden, spacious house
The garden is much bigger than expected, everything is clean, well managed and maintained. Walking distance to Alcudia downtown, ca. 10 minutes on a very quiet street. Management is very helpful and fast in reaction time.
Beautiful property, great town/countryside location
We loved staying at Sa Cova. Celia was an excellent host and answered all our questions and messages promptly. The outdoor space was far bigger than it seemed in the pictures, and the house was just right for our 2 families of 4. Air con worked well. Pool was clean. Lovely location, 5 minute walk into town and a 8 minute drive to either side of the peninsula. Lots of lovely local beaches to the north to explore. A good base for cycling, running and sea swimming and the usual tourist stuff.
As mentioned in a couple of the previous reviews there were lots of mosquitoes and a few things that could do with a refresh (the sofa, a shower head, a couple of lights) and a few additional kitchen things that would be useful - scissors, oven trays, basics like hand soap, salt, pepper, but on the whole it had pretty much everything we needed. For a two week stay it was expected that the villa would be cleaned and towels changed however the cleaner had a problem and didnât come until we let Celia know, and she sorted this very quickly.
All in all itâs a great villa. Iâd happily stay again đ
Lovely property very spacious and well looked after. The garden was great for the children to play in it was a lot bigger than we expected and the children enjoyed the pool We spent a lot of time at the villa as it was in a lovely area nice and quiet. We were able to walk into the old town and most evenings we enjoyed a meal in one of the many restaurants It was very easy to get a taxi if needed at a fair price.. Although Celiathe owner was away she emailed us to check everything was ok
Came and stayed with four kids and four adults. Plenty of room for everyone! Was too cold to swim but we loved walking into town and exploring the walled city. Thanks for a great stay. Just a tip...bring your own soap and toilet paper. There was nothing in the house.
We had a lovely holiday at Sa Cova but we were unlucky that there were a few storms whilst we were there and not only was there water coming in through the roof but the downstairs also flooded. Celia was swift and helpful in resolving the issue which meant we could continue to enjoy our stay. I made a list of pros and cons on the villa which you can find below. The garden really is excellent here but some things in the house needed replacing... the sofa for example, instead of buying a new one, there was a sheet over the foam where the leather had obviously been ripped. The lights didnât work on the extractor fan. Our main disappointment was that there was no internet at the villa as advertised which meant my husband was unable to do his work on what was meant to be a working holiday for him!
Cons
Outdoor cushions old and filthy
No oven gloves
Only 4 wine glasses
No kitchen scissors or oven tins
Downstairs bathroom overflow
House flooded
Ants
No internet as advertised!!! Husband couldnât do his work! Huge problem!!
No welcome pack (milk in fridge)
Insufficient directions
No info on recycling, local supermarkets/restaurants etc
extractor fan light broken
Sheet over sofa to cover foam
Pool net broken
Pros
Fantastic bbq area
Lovely large private outdoor space
Safe pool area for the children
Plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 toddlers
Lovely location
