Surprisingly wonderful!

I've never been a big Holiday Inn fan, and I don't travel often these days. But I needed a room for a night for an out of town funeral, booked my room here because it was close. I didn't expect much - my OLD experiences with Holiday Inn were less than stellar, which is the reason I haven't been in one literally for decades. But boy, was I wrong! As stated, I don't often use hotels and had no clue of how drastically Holiday Inn has changed from its doldrum days in years past. My room and the hotel in general were super-clean. The bed was tough to get out of, it was so comfy. The staff is nothing short of AMAZING - very knowledgeable, very friendly, and highly accommodating. Also: the breakfast is nothing short of amazing! It includes all of the standard cereals, yogurt, juices, etc., but also hot scrambled eggs, pork sausage, taters, biscuits, sausage gravy, pancakes, fruit, and more. It's a GREAT breakfast. My experience with this Holiday Inn Express leads me to view this brand as a brand of choice that I'll purposely seek out in the future. What a pleasant surprise!

Comfy bed - disappointing tv

Pros: very friendly staff - clean room/facility - very comfy bed Cons: very limited tv channels - no smart tv and free wifi wouldn’t work with our firestick, had to use a weak hot spot on our phones to watch a decent tv show or movie- pillows weren’t the best - complimentary breakfast ends too early at 9:30am

Would be great if the pool worked.

Great hotel, very nice and fairly new. Only problem was that the pool was not working. They said they were working on the problem but we were not able to use it. They should come down on price for this issue. The add states a pool, and you are charged the price INCLUDING the use of the pool. Take the price down for not being able to use it.

The front lobby staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and smelled nice. Beds were very comfortable, with 2 different types of pillows. The lights in the bathroom was extremely bright. Toilet was quite low. But , place was great overall!

New property, conveniently located on NW side of Asheville. Easy to find, plenty of parking, big room, comfortable bed. Decent breakfast, easy and fast checkin and check out. Friendly and helpful staff. Good wifi, lots of outlets and USBs in the room. Large bathroom. Clean. Pretty much what you expect and want from this hotel class. No disappointments, and would stay here again.

We were very pleased with our hotel stay. The check in clerk was very friendly and our room was immaculate. The bathroom was modern and very roomy. The shower was nice with built in soap/shampoo dispensers. The bed and linens were super comfortable.
