As a guest of Bowline Hotel, you'll find a sauna, a fireplace in the lobby, and room service (during limited hours). You can enjoy a drink at the bar/lounge. The front desk is open around the clock. Parking is available for a fee. You'll have access to the health club at a partner property.
So so loud.
Many people had complained about the sea lions but thatâs not the issue we had. The 1st floor suite has a paper-thin roof, meaning you can hear EVERY SINGLE FOOTSTEP of the people staying in the room above you. Awful nights sleep.
I spoke to front desk upon checking out and they acted surprised. Strange as itâs a structural problem, not variable like sea lions barked at each other.
I gave the hotel multiple opportunities to respond to my feedback however after a month, and several emails, Iâve had zero response, so hopefully this review with serve as caution to avoid the 1st floor rooms AT ALL COSTS.
Loved the friendly staff, great bartenders, beautiful views, comfortable and clean rooms and saunas with a view of the Columbia. Great location to downtown! Great vibe!
When we walked in there was a line to check in, so we were offered a glass of champagne. When we checked in we were told that the glasses of champagne were our free drinks , even though everybody was offered the same. My husband said no to champagne (because he doesnât like champagne ) and she gave him a glass anyway . No elevators and my husband has a bad knee. Balconyâs are basically attached , although we were lucky, since it does not seem like anybody was staying in the room next to us. Seals are great to look at, but they are very loud at night . All in all pretty nice place to stay.
We had a lovely stay. The sea lions were a bonus. The weather was very rainy and it was nice to have a room with a view and a fireplace. Had a lovely light dinner at the bar. Just perfect.
