Upon arrival there was no working internet or TV. We spent the first few hours of our stay trying to communicate with our host and resolve this issue. Most supplies that were listed as available were not, for instance no plastic bags to dispose of the used toilet paper that we were instructed not to flush in the toilet, no hand soap or garbage bags. Bathrooms were in poor condition and there was a TERRIBLE sewer smell throughout the entire apartment. Although all this was communicated to the host many times via email, text messages Whatsapp and voice mail there was hardly any responses. Only on the fourth day of our 5 day stay were a few necessary supplies delivered. Upon checkout, the Internet and TV were still not working. It appeared that there was very little care in the upkeep and guest readiness The Host offered no information on our responsibilities as guests, ot information about the neighborhood or suggestions to make our stay more comfortable and memorableI do not believe any visitor to such an amazing city as Athens would want to spend any of their time dealing with problems trying to reach the host or shopping for supplies that should have available, we spent many hours. However, the location was wonderful.
