Fully equiped in every way though I would recommend people be very careful with the step up into the bedroom, my wife tripped and may have broken a rib after landing heavily. The glass she was holding shattered and cut her. The vacuum cleaner had no suction and there was no broom!!! But overall the penthouse was awesome. Yes, a bit dated but very comfortable and we would stay there again. After my wife had the fall, I contacted the staff and they were super nice and offered to come immediately to assist.

The deck and view are why you book this unit. Sun beds very comfortable and the view while on the deck is outstanding. Great air conditioning in the unit, newer kitchen and bathroom, older building. Nice hosts.

Lovely rooftop accommodation suitable for a couple looking to have a quiet holiday. Ideal location aet between groceries, the beach and many places to eat. Communication with the owners was great and they were particularly helpful with a dew specifics we required regarding our trip. I plan on returning to the Vouliagmeni Penthouse

It’s the worse property I ever rented, You can smell the moldiness just entering the building, the apartment has a very bad smell of moldiness , no one can sleep

Hot tub does NOT work!! The water does not stay warm for more than a minute. The owners gave us a remote and manual to a completely different hot tub. We contacted the owners but what they suggested (let the hot water run then turn it off and wait for the hot water to come back on) did not work. Very disappointed because the hot tub is advertised and we spent a week there with a hot tub that does not work. I wish I would have read the reviews because another review says THE SAME THING!! Other than that, it’s a decent place.

I loved what the property had to offer. The location was perfect. I booked it for the hot tub and never ended up even using it due to experiencing and seeing what the neighborhood and athens had to offer. Ill be booking again in the future when i return!

Great location and nice view towards the sea, compromised towards the residential part of the neighbourhood (unkept terraces). Most importantly, the flat hasn’t had a deep clean for a long time, curtains were dusty, sewage was smelly and lots of fallen leaves and flowers have been left rotting on the stairs leading to the main entrance of the building. This creates both a slippage risk and affects the overall cleanliness of the drainage system of the building. I would have enjoyed the stay a lot more if these basic points had been addressed.

While the view from the property was great, we were hoping to be able to enjoy the hot tub with it, however it’s more like a bathtub that doesn’t stay warm and was unusable. If you’re like me and booked it for the hot tub, look elsewhere. If you just want a nice place to stay, then I’m sure it’ll be fine as it has everything you could need otherwise.

A gem of a Retreat!

The pictures do not do this penthouse justice, we had an amazing holiday. The facilities in the apartment including the outdoor jacuzzi were excellent as was the location. There is a fantastic little supermarket a few doors down along with a beautiful fresh fruit and vegetable shop, butchers and pharmacy. Vouliamengi Lake Resort was a ten minute walk and a beach club across the road (closed when we were staying in November) with other beaches along the coast line. There are a number of restaurants and cafes within a short walk including Blue Fish which was exceptional. The people we met were extremely helpful and friendly and to be honest I cannot wait to go back again!

Perfect

Extremely well equipped apartment, and very clean and fresh kitchenwares. Perfect location with a supermarket next door and the beach just over the street. Wonderful beds. Good instructions how to get there.

Old apartment building with a well renovated top floor apartment. The inside of the apartment is smaller than it looks on pictures but modern and comfortable. The terrace is the best part about the property. Great views and lovely space.
