****NOT AS ADVERTISED*** Was looking for a reasonably priced hotel for a concert i was attending in Bangor, i thought i had found one but upon arrival it was very obvious that i was about to over pay for the room. Do not let the lobby trick you, this hotel is RUN DOWN. The smell alone was enough to make you uncomfortable...old, musty, smelly. All of the carpeting leading to the rooms are filled with stains along with the ceilings. Havent even made it to the room yet! The 1980's wallpaper peeling in more places than one. Just about every door had scuff marks and paint missing. Now finally the room... STINK STINK STINK. Mold had to of been present with that smell. The bathroom light was DUCT TAPED to the ceiling and there was no form of ventilation for when taking a shower (makes you wonder where the moldy smell is coming from). There were pretzel sticks from the previous guests on the floor. The curtains were broken not allowing you to close the curtains all the way with out some assistance of a side table holding it in place. This one isn't a huge deal but if we are going to really talk about the whole experience even the shampoo they offer is nothing but a tube of chemicals that literally turned out hair into straw. Be sure to check the expiration date on any snacks you buy from the snack bar as we discovered two out of four of the items we purchased were expired by more than a month...I feel like you all have got the point. Dont bother staying here.

My only quibble was that the pillows were too thick, I need a thinner pillow for my old neck. The staff were friendly & helpful. Surprisingly the food was teriffic at the on-site restaurant. So we were happy with our stay & will return when using the Bangor Airport which is nearby.

Heat and AC were fine. The TV didn’t work. We ignored it the first night but requested assistance the next day. Nobody could get it to work. We went to the bar/restaurant to watch whatever was on (college football). No Ryder Cup showing. The band in the function room was so loud we decided to “chew & screw.” We were given a partial refund for the inconvenience of no TV.

Room was unclean. There were stains on the carpet, discoloration in the tub, and a syringe cap on the floor. The rooms were loud, you could hear everything going on in the hallway and in the other rooms.

Very clean and perfect for a quick stop off the highway. I was a bit worried as there is a lounge attached to the hotel but it was pretty quiet. You do hear the airport but that didn’t bother me.

An adiquate refrigerator. Ours was small and not very cold at all. An updated hair blow dryer. Where do hotels keep finding these retro, cheap blow dryers? This model has been in cheap hotels for decades. Time to treat your guests to a newer, better model.
