The location wasn't too bad, it about 40mins train ride into Barcelona and the train was parked like sardines which was very bad as it was very very hot when we went. Please note that when you add dinner into your room, its a set menu for every 4 days it changes which we didn't know and it was not a great menu and not best food. We had to remove dinner and go else were to eat.

I called beforehand and asked if they were closed to the cruise port. I was informed that I was walking distance when we got to the airport. The Uber driver informed us that that hotel with an hour away. On the other side a Barcelona, when we contacted when we contacted Expedia and the property they're refusing to give us our money back when they lied to us from the beginning so I would not recommend this hotel to nobody. They're very unprofessional, if they know they lied, the least thing they can do is refund the money. Cause we had to get another hotel at last minute, notice. In barcelona, to be close to the cruise port

Best place to live if in Barcelona . Train to Barcelona city centre is every 15 mins and takes 45 mins to reach Saints 5 EUR for a ticket. Beautiful property . Sara and Juan from Bar is very courteous . Great place to stay and very close to beach and station

It’s just ok

There aren’t that many hotels in Mataro to start with. I chose this one because it’s what our company recommended. To me, this is not a 4 star hotel. The staff is very nice and breakfast has plenty of options but the hotel rooms are lacking. There is a strange sewer smell in the bathroom (I had that experience in two different rooms), the bathroom is lacking amenities (extra towel holder, soap holder, tissue box - they only give you those individual tissue pack), the towels and bed sheets could be softer, pillows and are not super confortable, bed is ok, room temperature cannot be changed during winter so if it’s get too hot your only option is to open the window. Hotel restaurant is ok. I would expect better for a 4 star hotel. The only good part is the location, right on the port and walking distance from the city center. Would I stay there again for business? Yes because parking is easier than inside the city center. But I wouldn’t choose this place for a vacation.
