Blue Piano is a wonderful place to stay in Birmingham and I would personally recommend it to anybody who is considering a trip to Birmingham! The staff are hospitable, accomodating and kind! We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return.
The Picture that is advertised on you Your site is Totally different to the real picture. !!
The Property is very tired , very dated
Electrical Sockets needs attention
Sink needs to be replaced , Due to crack through Basin.
Found Rodent box placed behind Bed
Sticky tape on Door frame
Curtains to be rehung ,as much of curtain was detached from Curtain Rail
Shower tap to allow water flow from tap to shower head Stiff/Stuck -Not working so We couldnât take a Shower !!
Not at all worth the Money we Paid
Very disappointing
The bed was comfy and clean perfectly made but the cleaning of the room was not dust everywhere and dirt rubbish under the bed curtains not hung properly and really grubby windows I spent first hour of stay cleaning both rooms except under the beds didn't want to touch the stuff. I felt like the housekeeper just went in made the bed after cleaned bathroom and added towels didn't care about the dust on the skirting boards etc I have have an allergy so had to double my medication as couldn't find anyone to speak to.
Bathroom spacious clean but very damaged huge crack in sink and plug broken marks on the wall towel rails etc not fixed securely on the wall
Kettle and fridge in the one bedroom on floor had to clean myself.
TV remote not working and so many chipped furnishings just need to put something over the top so can't be seen and all walls had marks on them or chipped paintwork.
I feel that there was no proudness from them for their property
The restaurant that is attached is wonderful was chosen as son is coeliac and it was good this is why we chose to stay as it hard to find coeliac certified places to eat I was glad that it was very different standard to the hotel section. As we were just using the room to sleep as busy schedule it was ok to just get some sleep so we stayed.
It was a real shock when first walk in to room such a shame. I wrote an email to hotel with no reply as yet
On phoning the mobile number attached to the front door, a member of the kitchen staff let us in and supplied the key to Room 7. This room is unacceptable, with shredded net curtains at the window. The same staff member phoned someone, who arranged for us to have Room 1 instead. Whilst an improvement on Room 7, it is way below an acceptable standard, and should not be let out until cleaned up, at the very least.
Mould in the bathroom. Shower curtain not adequate
Radiator on hot all night, no way of turning it off
Dining room cold and cheerless.
Staff indifferent.
Arriving at the property, it looked lovely, once inside it was quite dated. If you have trouble walking there are three flights of stairs with no lift, Lucky that wasnât the case for us.
Once in our room the heat nearly knocked you out.It was ridiculous, we were in able to turn the radiators down as the knob had been snapped off.
Also reported to reception that the TV did not work, a member of staff came to try n fix it but to no avail. I asked could he change it with another TV in an empty room whilst we were out. Upon our return, nothing had been done. Will not be visiting again.
